Homatics Box R 4K Plus

I got it working, and it works until I start ATV once. Then it reads the stick. When I restart to boot COREelec, everything is a strange green color again. As long as I don’t start ATV after a fresh installation, everything’s fine.

What resolutions have you allowed?
4096x2160p isn’t allowed for me, otherwise my screen looks the same as yours. I’ve allowed all 3840x2160p resolutions.

You dont need any whitelist.
Just use Kodi at 1080p 60Hz, and leave blank whitelist.

The solution for this problem is mentioned in post #2902.
Or simply read my old post #2 here

Unfortunately, my 1080p movies and series are then sent to my TV in the said 1080p. On my TV (Sony Bravia 9), the picture then stutters or jerks (I now know it’s because of the 12-bit transmission at 1080p). However, if I let CoreELEC upscale the image to 3840x2160 by allowing it in the whitelist, the picture is smooth and stable (Here the 12 bit picture works fine).
Alternatively, I could set the resolution to 3840x2160p 60Hz (without a whitelist). I just thought it might be beneficial to allow all the different Hz frequencies. Since then, I’ve at least had peace and quiet and a good, stable, jerk-free picture. What more could I want? I’m not allowed to allow 4096x2160p, otherwise it looks like the picture above. But also I have to say, i use the Ugoos AM6B Plus.

Thats equal.
I use two amb6+, and some homatics boxes. All GUI set 1080p60Hz and zero issue here.

That may be the case for you. Unfortunately, the Sony Bravia 9 is causing problems with the resolution. I had these issues also with my Dreambox 920. Unfortunately, the Sony Bravia 9 is a bit of a problem when it comes to resolution and color depth.

I have same issue like you. Every time i play the DV FEL movie , it playing at the wrong speeds and skips frames. Then plays very well on DV MEL contents and the others but FEL. (My device is DUNE R 4K PLUS.)
I hope the next update can solve this problem.

First install on new RockTek G2. Android TV works perfect.

It just keeps rebooting shortly after the RockTek logo appears if USB or SD are inside. In a loop.
I did everything based on the manual.
I tried different USB sticks and SD cards. CE21 and CE20.
I tried the reset button and the ADB reboot update command.
PS: tried different dtb
Dont know what to try next

There is only one option left: solder the UART to the board and see what happens.

UPDATE: ist working now with CE22. Dont know why :man_shrugging:
