My box got auto updated to atv14 (thanks to homatics who pushed the forced update) and i want to downgrade to ATV12 beta. I have a couple of questions on the process -
1- should the power cable be connected during this process?
2 - Is it necessary to downgrade to ATV11 before upgrading to ATV12?

YES to both questions, follow the steps carefully and you’ll be fine. Problem is I cannot bypass the upgrade to ATV14, so i cannot use the device in Android, but at least CE-NG boots again after downgrade.
No to both, but that is indeed offtopic here. The user that writes Yes Yes simple doesn’t know what you can do using an image file and the AmLogic burn software, the most solid way for up and downgrading in OS versions and builds.
Please correct me if I’m wrong, on CE NG - VC-1 files are not displayed properly with hardware acceleration enabled, and stutter with hw acc disabled? Or am I doing something wrong. On a dune box.

Yes, in the NG Vc1 just display right with the old revision of the homatics boxes , like the first silver one.

You probably could use the Dune Media Player itself for most VC-1 media (with 23.976 refreshrate), or not use NG but NO indeed.
Thanks for your answers, guess I will try NO some day, will it work with my old android version? I’m scared of booting android because of updates, but if both NG and NO can work with same android version, I might just use 2 usb’s with different CE versions.
When you use CE NO, or any other android app, you will lose the p7 Fel.
Yeah, but if I have a separate usb with CE NG, I can use it for p7 fel, and another usb with CE NO, I can use it for everything else. Unless NO needs newer version android, or something, compared to NG
I do the same thing with two different USB, but I am on ATV14. I presume both work fine on ATV12 as well.

I wonder if we can make screenshots of whole settings pages maybe by ssh, or access the settings pages through a browser on another device maybe, or export all the values of settings. To make it easier to replicate all of them on another version fresh install of CE for example 
I used a dovi.ko file which I backed up to my e-mail in March 2024 and somehow it worked. I don’t know why recently downloaded dovi.ko files did not work…
All lossless sound formats and DV FEL works like a charm now.
Hello. Please does anyone have firmware image 11.8.5310? After a forced update to a14 I managed to go back to A11 but version 3236. It not work DV on CE.
Offtopic here, but I would advise you to update to ATV 12, v12.8.5394. It’s the most stable and best working version according to most users.
Thank you. 11.8.5310 is the best for fully DV working on NE CE. My box after downgrade still autoupdate to A14 on setup. 
I don’t have any issues with DV when running 12.8.5394 with CE-NG 21.3. Why are you using the older CE-NE?
NG is older (older kelner for s905x3 s922). NE is newer for (s905x4). I tryed 12.8.5394 and still same autoupdate to A14 on setup AndroidTV. cannot be skipped
I use NG for dv fel, on my box NE doesn’t start and NO doesn’t have dv 7 fel if i understand correctly
I have a14 and i don’t have any problem (will add heatsink for heat problem)
You can block a14 update with adguard
