I was able to enable logcat but not seeing save logs to usb.

You manually need to go again to the advanced options and select save to usb

Is your box Homatics 4k plus and fel is only rpu used?

For Profile 7 FEL only the RPU, but only if the setting is set to Minimal EL (which I don’t think is good, because it should work in 8.1).

@Portisch
Is it a known bug that under CE-NE 21 the GUI performance is not optimized? If the GUI is in the foreground (e.g. the control buttons) while playing a movie, the playback starts to stutter. The scrolling of the cover view is also choppy.
Under CE-NG 21 everything is fast and smooth.
The CPU is in performance mode in both cases.

Is not correct, it’s a performance item, not a bug, with 5.4 kernel and low power SoC.
On A311D2, T7 it’s much better and almost like 4.9 kernel.

Feel free to tweak the system to improve the performance and make a PR!

S905X4 is just really low power…

Thanks, it’s interesting that the kernel version matters so much, it’s like not using the GPU to draw the interface. What’s more interesting is that I don’t experience this slow performance under Android either.

My box is the dune version and for fel it uses rpu only.

@Portisch I tried to create a log for you on my Dune by playing BL_EL.mkv in Kodi Omega from 20230412. Playback resulted in a black screen though. I could still press the stop button to get back into Kodi.

I then did the “Copy logs to USB” action, but there is only an empty kernel_dmesg.log file. There is also a logcat file of about 3 MB. Is that of any use to you?

No, you need to use their player where FEL “does work”. You need to enable kernel log option to to store dmesg log in the zip file.

NOKIA 8010 wired eth seems to be working now properly on nightly CE21 20230420.
For PHY info:
meson8b-dwmac fdc00000.ethernet eth0: PHY [0.0:00] driver [YT8531 Gigabit Ethernet]

I must be doing something wrong. Or Dune has made some changes to how the bugtracker works.

I have kernel logging enabled, played the BL_EL.mkv file with the Dune Media Center app and then copied the logs to USB. I get only these files:

getprop.txt
logcat.txt
pts.txt
kernel.txt
dumpsys.txt
versionInfo.txt

So no dmesg log. Also, there is no ZIP file created. The USB stick contains a folder called “logs” with just this inside:

logcat-1224339621040003107-20230420-15-29-51
logcat-1224339621040003107-20230420-15-42-41
logcat-1224339621040003107-20230420-15-41-24.tar.gz
logcat-1224339621040003107-20230420-15-29-51.tar.gz

I can’t manage to find the copy logs to usb settings.

The option to copy logs to USB is definitely present in the bugtracker. Did you scroll down far enough?

Thanks, it wasn’t present when I checked there.
