How Do I Get This Controller To Turn My N2+ On Using IR?

I just got one of these G30 controllers [https://www.amazon.com/Control-Wireless-Assistant-Android-Learning/dp/B07ZVH2Z95?th=1], the wi fi works perfectly with Coreelec but I want to use the ir to turn my N2 back on. Since this is a learning control there is no ir code to copy. The only thing I can figure to do is teach it a code from another ir controller and then copy that into the N2’s boot ini. Right or wrong or is there a better way?
