How to access HDD on Coreelec from PC?

To access your HDD from your pc you need to edit your samba shares.
Look at this for a start and ask if you need:

I’d like to set up my own Samba shares and turn off the default shares. Ideally I’d like just one share at the root of the filesystem and no others. I see there’s a short note on it in the Guide and How-tos section, but it’s not clear to me. Can someone provide some detail on how to do that? Thanks.
