Is wireguard my solution?

Hi @Vasco , I will like to access my files(hdd attached to my coreelec box) remotely.
So is wireguard the solution? where my coreelec device act as a server & I can access it outside my lan. Do i need to install wireguard on my isp box(my isp box will not allow it or can or all be installed on coreelec box?

For weeks now, I’ve been seeing how Spanish internet service providers are interfering with DNS access to Asus, DuckDNS, and others. For this reason, using DDNS with OpenVPN and Wireguard is currently unreliable. I recommend using Tailscale and Zerotier as a priority, as they don’t require DDNS.

If you are wanting an easy way to connect your devices like they are on the same LAN even know that they are on different LAN’s, or you are away from home. Then look to Tailscale. I use it myself and I can easy connect to my TVheadend server (running on Odroid C4 on Coreelec) and NAS both running Tailscale from my laptop also running Tailscale also - I just use the IP addr given to my device from Tailscale and it just works.
