Kinhank G1

Dont understand run back and Home???

Remote config is ir
Not Bluetooth??

Remote config is based on Homatics Dune G25 i think

So you will not have all Button functions mapped / working

G10 remote have IR & BT

you can see in list bt

red led = IR
green led = BT

Ok

So back button/ return is working for me

Home button when you click on can here sound from UI
But does not return you to Home

As posted not all functions will be mapped correctly or not working at all.

Do not know about Bluetooth config???

Test n Try i guess

I mean, press the two buttons at the same time for a while until the remote light lights up green. This is the Bluetooth pairing status of the remote.

In Android the G10 is paired at setup as bluetooth accessory
And i can add soundbar/ bluetooth speakers
All is good.

In CoreELEC i do not think there is dual pairing
Multiple devices paired.
I could not get it to work
Was conflict with speakers

I did test G10 in CoreELEC paired as controller
Some functions were working
BUT the most important function (imo)
In centre of D-Pad the ok/select/enter button does not work.

For these 2 reasons iam staying with Homatics Dune
ir remote config Portisch/Frodo built

You need to adjust this 2 buttons with udev hwdb rule like here.

Zuma Thank you for This !!!

From Windows machine
In CoreELEC Configfiles Folder there are 2 subfolders

hwdb.d
udev.rules.d

I copy and pasted your HWDB File into both subfolders
Reboot
Pair G10 remote as bluetooth
Enter button function ALL GOOD !!!

Also no issues with MusiBaby bluetooth speakers paired at same time.

Awesome
Thanks again !!!

Happy Testing

Hi
I also have Kinhank G2 but neither the stable nor nightly versions work properly.
Wifi and bluetooth appear randomly. Sometimes after restarting the device it is there and other times it is not there.

I had a similar problem a long time ago in the Beelink S912 device, but after updates the problem was solved.

When you want to turn on the device with the remote control, nothing will happen because the IR will not work.

Yes, this is an annoying problem. When you put the device on sleep mode, or even turn off the device, it is not possible to turn on the device again using the remote, whether via BT or IR. Try waking the device by pressing the power button on the device or the TV remote.

The best solution would be to create or extract remote.conf from android.
Then the remote control would work via IR and the Power button would work normally.

Remote.zip (4.2 KB)
Here are the remote files extracted from the Android of G1. If anybody is interested.

@ karmantyu

Thank you for the update. I do not know if all the files are needed. I’ve copied simply everything seemed to be important.

Yes this is only way
Power button on front of Box.

Can be a good thing
Makes user get up off couch/chair
Physical exercise

Hahaha

Iam using 2 remote configs

The ir from dune homatics

G10 with Zuma fix for enter function

After power off/shutdown the G10 remote does not always pair at start up.

So i have navigation with ir remote config until pair with G10

Or can just stay with ir config

Still no wake from suspend/power on etc…

Have to use button on Front of Box

Maybe Android remote zip will help…???

you can try copy all file remote cong from android to partition coreelec

i copy remote.conf from android to /flash = not work

They are using same kernel

Android sdk are image files???
For remote control???

Coreelec linux distro CONF files???

I dont think you can just copy over???
