For those who are interested to know, the G1 has a SOC as rev B, so it can play all videos on NG, like interlaced/ VC1 without any issues.
I tested many files, and I can confirm no overheat nor white artifacts
HW (bug), so no fix on those boxes with rev D SOC. and compatibility on NG is not 100%.
