Yes, from video everything is and looks as was before. I didn’t do the update, since my G1 is at my holiday place, will pick it up this weekend to do the update at home.
And there are still plenty of G1 boxes on Ali which surely have the original firmware, so it’s still a good CE option with full L1 streaming support for Netflix and others.
At the moment a relatively cheep allrounder…
Edit, this moded FW still shows the same Android FW version as original 11.1.4, but as corrected by @hungphutho Kernel version is from 11.1.13.
fully agree. I probably pick one up in next big sale. If I can get one for around £44 all in, I’ll buy. Right now it’s like £52 for me.
Some lucky folks got it for £43!
G1 is in my opinion (and mentioned that before Kinhank G1 - #318 by Sholander) a much better box than Nokia 8010, and look at it’s price

I can confirm that the ROM works, I`ve just flashed it. You must stick to the tutorial video
dual boot ATV & CE works without problems, ATV shows no updates.

No I have not. I use CE-NG (latest nightly to get GB LAN). DV looks good.

Surely it is .13 as it offers adaptive HDR. This makes not too much sense BTW as if activated, Netflix and Disney+ limits to 1080p SDR.
If I already have the latest update, and CE not boot, can I try the ROM and get the CE boot?
No you can’t flash the rom, once you have updated then sdmc has disabled flash mode adnl/fastboot…
