I think many people are curious if the S905X4-J in the G1 can support Dolby Vision FEL and that video will test it out: woman appears means that it can support FEL. Before you do the test, can you make sure that Dolby Vision output is set to Lossless.

Android does not support FEL above kernel 4.9.
Is there a download link to the Android firmware?
The hardware seems to be nice for media playback. So this BOX is not optimal for NO?

but i can access system android from coreelec
The device is very cheap, and has a license to run Dolby Vision, but the Ethernet speed is 100Mbps and we have not found a driver for it, yet.

Did a quick test on my Homatics. The dovi.ko works on the Homatics in MEL, but gives a black screen in Lossless mode.
It should work, yes. This is the reason we think it’s the suffix J give FEL support.
Is this statement subtly different from the previous one
Amlogic uses a suffix of J or K in their SoC model names to denote if the SoC is licensed for Dolby Vision
in that now it is believed the -J indicates FEL. Does this imply that other parts of dolby vision are possible without the -J?
I want to buy this device, any news about the network and dolby vision?
I have this device now on the table but not started yet debugging.
It did boot CE and Dolby Vision does work like on Homatics, no P7 FEL support.
