Looking for users with no working WiFi or BT

Hi,
CoreELEC 9.2.2, Odroid C4 with a TP-LINK Archer T2U not working (it worked with the same configuration on Odroid C2), this is the verbose log (cut to the dongle part), thank you

How is it not working? Is it not showing wifi networks? Not connecting to a network? not staying connected to a network?

Is your wifi 2.4ghz or 5ghz?

Can you post the output of

lsmod

I found this that compiles on my ARM ubuntu, but don’t know how to proper cross compile it for CoreELEC ARM.

Hi,
sorry for the lack of information.
The dongle is not recognized inside Kodi, I cannot see the wifi configuration and network selection (it seems like there’s no dongle connected), the little light on the dongle is off.
At home I have both 2.4GHz and 5GHz networks.
Tonight I’ll post the output of lsmod.

Yesterday I tested the Odroid C2: it connects to the 2.4GHz network, I can see the 5GHz network but cannot connect to it.
I also noticed the 2.4GHz network is very slow (it buffers a lot on a 2Gb video file) even if the wifi signal is strong, making it pretty unusable. I do not have wifi problems on the other devices (smartphone, tablet, laptop).

Let me know if you need further information

Thank you

ciao Guys,

My S905X3 box’s built-in bluetooth is not working. The driver starts, hci0 comes up but the audio output is lagging.

HCI Version: 4.2 (0x8) Revision: 0xaa89
LMP Version: 4.2 (0x8) Subversion: 0x7e1c
Manufacturer: Realtek Semiconductor Corporation (93)

I can use the box with a dongle (the audio is perfect) but if I blacklist the bt-uart module somehow rfkill blocks bluetooth on boot and I must log in and unblock it manually (despite bt-usb is loaded). The block runs in the very end of the booting process after autroun.sh can execute ‘rfkill unblock bluetooth’.

According to the dmesg, and also this thread, what you got is not a bluetooth adapter.
It’s also possible that linux doesn’t see it as an actual bt adapter. In any case it seems that it’s not supported.

Hi,
is there something else I should do in order to give you details on my issue?
Thanks

Guys, can anybody tell me how can I prevent rfkill blocks bluetooth? I really did not find any trace of it :frowning:

thanks!

@anon88919003 Hi, still no news regarding the BT for MT7668 ?
I found that there is a Linux version (Yocto Linux) supporting a board called # Pumpkin Evaluation Kit Smart Audio Edition that has the same MT7668 chip.

I tried to check, but my Linux source knowledge is limited so I didn’t know where to look so far.
