In my case (X96 Max+), BT is working for BT headphones since more or less a couple of weeks (I think that after this update: https://relkai.coreelec.org/archive/old_changelogs/changelog-20200213.txt ), but not working when disconnected (can’t be reconnected again without rebooting CoreELEC), but not working for PS4 DualShock gamepad.
That’s a curious thing. BT of X96 Max+ in CoreELEC recognizes the “Wireless Controller”, I can “pair” it (PS4 dualshock light is “fixed”) and it works more or less for only 1 second (in that second I can “control” CoreELEC with PS4 dualshock). After that second, the light of PS4 dualshock is gone, and CoreELEC does not recognize the commands from it anymore… but CoreELEC “says” that it’s still connected.
I can connect it again (for 1 second) if reboot CE, but never more that 1 second (perhaps 2 seconds, no more).

This thread is for people who do not have any WiFi or BT as set out in post #1, not controller issues.

Sorry @stm, it looks like you also have the 9082xs clone Realtek chip, nothing we can do for this.

Thanks for looking anyway @anon88919003. Not a big deal since I use this box primarily as a wired tvheadend server for my N2s…

Sorry, @anon88919003 . I thought it was also to comment issues.

Kind regards

Thanks!

It works!

Thank you very much for your work.

Kind regards.

Thx. It’s working with the last nigthly.

Great job @anon88919003. With the last nightly 0225 my X96air_P2 with 2/16GB runs nearly perfect from SD-card:

  1. dtb.img: sm1_s905x3_2g.dtb

  2. working: LAN 100MBit, WIFI with chip RTL8189FS

  3. working as instructred in CE-/KODI-forum: AFD, IR-Remote Power,

  4. working: Inject BL301 Blob

  5. not working: BT : find no other adapter

  6. not working: ceemmc says : no support

Many thanks for this

If you will read instruction fully then you will see a hint in the end for non-supported devices

@Bert2000 I can’t help if you don’t read post #1 and follow the instructions like everyone else.

This thread is for WiFi or BT only, post other issues in an appropriate thread.

I have A95X F3 Air with S905X3 and I just tested the latest nightly build 20200225 and WiFi is working now, but BT still not (Bluetooth is disabled message).

Thanks! Hope that BT will be enabled soon, but WiFi was more important

@anon88919003 I am very sorry… BT works on Vorke Z6… just had to pair it in Coreelec configuration plugin… to be honest I was looking in Settings not in plugin… anyway… thanks for a great job creating CE! Regards. M.

@kunjila as I have said to others, read post #1 or I can not help.

To anybody else please do not post without reading.

@adamg Well sorry for that. Until 10 mins ago I didn’t have a clue what SSH was
In the meantime updated to 20200226 and still WiFi works, BT is disabled.

Here is the link with the results:

thanks,

kunjila

@kunjila okay from the link you provided I can see you have the MT7668 chipset, I have already tried to get BT working without success on this chipset, we have a driver but when it gets loaded the system can not see the bluetooth interface and whether this is because it was designed for Android or some other reason I don’t know yet.
