Nightly builds (NEW)

Easy Tiger! I was just trying to help . . . LOL

Previous post suitably updated :face_with_raised_eyebrow:

UPDATE:
Just tried it with build 20191224 - Same issue.
This does not appear to be the same thing @frodo19 was reporting as the boot screen and CE splash always appear and display is there up until just after the build # is shown but the display signal is lost when the GUI is supposed to appear. The box is running and responds to SSH and remote, but no video signal.

which WIFI / BT module is in the BOX Fn-link 6222B-SRB or Fn-link 6222B-SRC

if the Fn-link 6222B-SRB SSH log in to enter this command

mount -o remount,rw /flash
fdtput -tx /flash/dtb.img /sdio@ffe03000/sdio/ f_max 0xa21fe80
reboot

THANK YOU.
With the help of the administrator @boot2k3 , the bug of wifi has been resolved and wifi works very well.

@Poida explain the issue on Slack and we can try and help you better then.

I have a problem with my tp link ue330 (usb-ethernet adapter Gbit usb hub) in NEW nightly build, kernel 4.9.113. It is unmounted and remounted very often at the storage units connected to the USB hub when there is traffic on the network cable. Sometimes it even freezes the box and must be powered of and on. This does not happen in stable version kernel 4.9.190. I also tried 3A power supply, on two devices, a s905x2 and a s905x3 (that’s only with CE nightly).

Some infos from stable build:

Hello everyone.

Can anyone tell me if there will be no more nighly updates builds for SoC S905/S912, there are no updates in the repository and my box has not been able to update for days.

Thanks.

No there are no nightlies for those boxes as the development has shifted to kernel 4.9 which doesn’t support the s905 and s912
.

Thanks for reply. The last build for those boxes is 2019/12/15

I updated my Vim3l to CoreELEC-Amlogic-ng.arm-9.2-nightly_20191224-Generic.img.gz. It is working much better than the original install, especially with HD audio. I am having issues with aspect ratios. All the movies play in stretched 16:9. If I try and choose another ratio manually nothing happens.

That’s it? 9.2.1 is the final release and there is nothing further for these boxes? I thought cdu13a was preparing a 4.9 release to align them on the same path as the ng platforms. How about Kodi 19?

Sorry that is not true, there has been a build error with ‘Amlogic’ releases and thats why there has been no nightly release, it should resume again tomorrow as this has now been fixed.

I had already left the forum for a few days when it was said that there is nothing at the moment for (S905D).
But I came back here today, and found good news.
Awaiting the test image, for my KI Pro.

i have x96max plus(s905x3 4g/ 32g/ gigabit/ bluetooth)
i had tested nightly build( CoreELEC-Amlogic-ng.arm-9.2-nightly_20191224.tar, s905x3 4g gigabit.dtb)

  • work: wifi, wired lan
  • not work: bluetooth, vfd

I have X 96 Max_Plus 2 wifi after a reboot does not work.

Try solution from here
Will be included in tomorrow nightly

GT-Mini-A (SN B95X)

Wifi - 2.4 GHz can’t remember password, can’t connect
Wifi - 5 GHz - connection attempt restarts the box
BT- work perfect
Remotr controll - red button power off work perfect but cannot be turned on ()

I can’t find the post now, but someone said they had issues with USB disks on nightly but not 9.2.1.

It looks like the USB3 crash fix that was developed By tobetter with amlogic was dropped when switching to the Android based kernel.

Good news! Then there will still be nightly builds for Amlogic S905 X/D/W

Thanks to all, happy holidays!
