No, running the N2. The Netflix app on my TV allows DV so I’m not fussed.
anybody else experiencing kind of a grey screen crash (looks like in those days when there’s no signal on analog tv) after around 10 minutes of playback? I’m having it on my X96 Max Plus (S905X3).

Since 2/3 days ago, I am having some issues playing LiveTV. Some channels doesn’t play smoothly, but in my enigma2 decoder they play ok, and I stream from it to the box, mobile, tablet, etc… in all the other devices I don’t have that problem.
I saw this post, Hardware decoding problem only for amlogic kernel 3.14 , but they talk about pixelated image and I don’t have it. Then about judder, but with s905… devices, and I am using a 905x2
There seems to be 2 different issues with Live TV streams.
I struck the issue testing with introduction of newer Kernel for S90SX / W / D Socs.
I also had issues with my Vim3 , Vim3L
My issue is only on one MUX and the HD channels.
I only get the issue of Pullup Correction 2 (PC2) with a poor video quality.
However I tested another members recorded TVH Channel and i got Pixelation on
ALL versions of CE with this recording
Including CE Stable 9.2.1.
The Pixelation issue seems to have been eliminated using new Kernel.
It does not result in perfect playback with these certain TV Streams.
So we have 2 different issues.
My problem seems to be with 2 muxes, firstly one and now another one.
It’s not by poor quality, I am reading about it, and seems that something is changing in h264/h265 encode, and seems the same as the other post, pixelation goes off with new 4.9 kernel, same we are using on ng nightlies, but now we have that not smooth playback, judder.

I have smooth playback disabling amcodec acceleration and deinterlacing, not 100%, but a lot less judder
i have a movie which makes big trouble. maybe someone has an idea what could cause that or how to fix that:

sorry, my english is not the best. It starts playing, i can see the first about 20 seconds, then it heavily starts stuttering. i have no sound at all on that file. when it starts, it looks ok. but no sound.
i am just doing a md5sum on the file to verify it has been transfered correctly. the source file plays fine on my machine with vlc
edit: checksums are identical, so the file is ok. its a playback issue
Feedback from my x96air video in latest Coreelec: Video its more clean & best than android but… i can observe micro stairs in iptv or hd video, not smoothly (in full hd video its less observe) !
And other problem is boot and pvr iptv adon.
If i reboot tv box not every time kodi booting, 1 or 2 time with 3 its stuck on logo coreelec.
Pvr iptv its not load tv list 1 off 3 time after reboot.
Stuttering apears systematic for 15, 30 aeconds on iptv.

About LiveTV judder, I think we must wait for an amcodec update, or some magic from devs
Regarding the load of iptv list, have you tried to enable Wait for network before start kodi, it’s on CoreElec Settings - Network

The S922X-H SoC is DV capable?
I’ve had some display issues with EmuELEC when setting the GUI to 4K. Because of that, I’ve now changed the resolution back to 1080p, but is it possible to force the device to output 4K resolution video whenever it is playing something and the resolution doesn’t fit the whitelisted ones? Regarding image quality, it’s not optimal that the N2 upscales to 1080p and then my TV upscales that to 4K. Whitelisted ones are fine, they are output as they are originally and my TV then does the upscaling if needed.
Also has now sound direct 3.5 jack on lastest nightly.
Noticed after last nightly that when I turn off the TV which initiates the CEC chain, the Vim3 now is idling with a very slow pulsating blue light. Before that it the power light would just turn off. I’m using the injected bulb for a while now and not changed anything.
Is this something new?
bl301 got changed and the blue led shows now “breathing” when in suspend.
The blue led is not controlled by the kernel so it’s hard to change it:
Only the red led is controled by kernel and it’s behavior can be changed by dtb settings.
