I’m happy to chip in. I’m running a um6b+ connected to my Yamaha 3070. Output from the amp is to my LG 77 C9. I have absolutely zero lip sync issues on any file. Almost all of my library are remuxes ranging from blu rays to ultra hd Dolby vision profile 7 and 8.
The problem could be anywhere in your AV chain. It’s not necessarily anything to do with CoreELEC
Ugoos am6b plus with nightly_20241026 FEL TEST DT DL P7 CMV4.0 4000nits V3.mp4 seem like FEL layer not working anymore… But downgrade to nightly_20241021 seem to be fine.
Then from here download appropriate version, copy it to storage/.update folder and reboot.
CMV2.9 FEL also broken. How do I roll back to the previous nightly?
Download the one from yesterday here
And put the file in the .update folder, and reboot
I’ve went back to 21.1.1 from the device updater. Will I get offered the next nightly when it comes out?
https://wiki.coreelec.org/coreelec:ce_support
For FEL: video and video/audio timing component must be enabled.
Samples?
The FEL test files from this page show the issue. I’ve rolled back and they’re playing fine on 21.1.1
Not sure what’s going on but Ive just downloaded the 25/10 nightly and the fel sample file played fine. I’d forgotten to turn off the auto updater and it auto installed 26/10 nightly which previously caused issues. For some reason the FEL files played just fine this time round.
Is there any possible reason why going from 21/10 to 26/10 (I had the same upgrade path as the other poster) caused a FEL playback issue but going from 21.1.1 stable to 25/10 to 26/10 causes no issue? :-/
Yes. Same way I’ve upgrade from 21/10 to 26/10 [ Skip 25/10 ] after that FEL DL-DT no longer working. for now I just downgrade to 21/10 so far no issue all FEL play fine.
I found a newly released P7-MEL MKV film that has a lot of issue seeking with chapter and resuming. I have never seen this on any other MEL MKV in my library. Seek/resume actions will sometimes crash the player. If it doesn’t crash, it will take ~20s to resume. It also for the first time I can remember, caused an HDMI dropout on my LG G2.
This is tested on 10/26 nightly. Below is dmesg and log:

DV FEL broken on my Am6b+ too in nightlies from Oct 25th and 26th.
Downgraded to nightly from Oct 17 and it’s working fine again.
It looks like it is partially broken.
The STDL FEL mp4 still works, but the DTDL version does not on 10/26 nightly.

Yeah I thought I had it working on 26/10 (see post above) but I noticed a film I was watching last night had muted colours. I checked the fel test files I had and a couple passed whereas one didn’t. I rolled back to 25/10 and I got the same. I then rolled way back to the nightly I used to set up at the beginning of October and everything was fine again. I’ve just disabled updates now. I don’t really need any more development from coreelec on my AM6B+ and I’m not convinced that maintaining FEL support is a priority for the developers.
DV FEL still broken in today’s nightly. I enabled debugging and the audio/video timing component and played the DTDL test sample which is now not showing the FEL layer. Unfortunately, I’m getting failed error when trying to upload the log…
Thanks for checking and reporting!
