Nightly builds (NEW)

OK, I use this [remore.config], now IR remote works, I will give up bluetooth remote control.(https://raw.githubusercontent.com/CoreELEC/remotes/e13790f1c7f2591c20def22061985ab6c3ffc56a/AmRemote/X96/remote.conf)

Hmmmmmmmm
Why a remote config from 4 years ago from X96 s905x box works, never thought to test this config???

However can confirm it does work!!!

Thx for this!!

Last few nightlys have caused some safe mode reboots. I think the cause is CEC incompatibility. The CEC setting in config.ini had been set to 27 when it was previously 00. Setting it back to “00” ( disabled) seems to have resolved the crashes.
Running on N2+

Latest No Nightly 0704 . Working ok atm :), thanks.

Message pops up on install (Android has been updated to xx.xx)
Can someone tell me what that means please?

Just updated myself on X96X10 latest nightly NO
Same pop up.

It is a good thing!!
Confirmation that YadaYada fix for u-code is implemented, and working.

At least thats what i think

CEC just reset itself to ‘1’ in config.ini again - causing the same crashes and SAFE MODE resets. Why are the updates messing with the CEC settings ?

Because you mess with config.ini?

The only way to completely disable CEC for the N2 is by setting "cec_func_config=“0"”
This was working without issue for well over two years and now its jumping to different values on the last few nightly builds.

Having it set to any other value on my system running through a Samsung TV causes crashes, eventual SAFE_MODE reboots and it interferers with the operation of IR remotes. This was a well discussed issue way back.

What you don’t understand?

Set by CoreELEC Settings

This has not been an option available in coreelec setting since years.

Please go and check this on an N2+ - because it isn’t there and hasn’t been for years. The only way to switch it off completely is via config.ini

Checked,
