not impossible
“ssh root@ceip dmesg -w > livelog.txt”
this will watch dmesg over ssh and you’ll get a log on your computer up to the last message
requires linux unless you figure out how to translate this to be used on windows

Thanks but I use Windows and am not technica skilled.
guess you’ll be waiting for someone else to duplicate it
(no issues here)
Ai can help you to do that.
It is pretty simple to do
Many thanks. My internet provider since yesterday has got a severe problem that affects net speed. Therefore I will wait until tomorrow that they fix the problem and test again.
Not a good idea with using 4k. I guess the CPU get too hot.
Use hardware decoder.
OK, I only disabled it as a test. The BBC stream itself is only 1080 (hmm, actually 720 I think). I downloaded the latest 22.0-Piers_nightly_20260623, re-enabled amcodec hw encoding. The video hangs (@1313:50).
I guess it’s inputstream adaptive crash. It crash when you start a second stream?
You need to check if you have a kodi_crash.log and if yes paste it.
Also you use a outdated dovi.ko.
You get maybe more help here:
I checked /storage/.kodi/temp/ and there is no kodi_crash.log or kodi_crashlog-*.
Also, I did not start a second stream. The issue occurs during the first/only BBC iPlayer stream: playback starts, then video freezes/stalls while audio continues. Kodi does not appear to crash or restart.
I’ll update dovi.ko so the environment is current, but the failing iPlayer stream appears to be BBC live H.264 rather than Dolby Vision.
Im getting the same on local streamed TV and skycams . Im going to adjust cache etc 1st to rule that out.
