It was fixed in 20190807.
Cool ⦠Many thanks brother.
and I have updated automatically to nighty 20190807, but my GT King beelink canāt boot to Android from emmc / nand
Could you please point out for me the last CE release where passthrough works correctly with S905x?
Passthrough has always worked correctly on 3.14 kernel in CoreELEC.
suryo2908 asked about a custom Kodi build, which probably doesnāt include our patches.
Riiight, I didnāt get that, obviously. Best answer probably should have been āwe donāt support third party buildsā
For the last couple of nightlies, Iāve had an issue while my N2 is idle late at night and while my TV is off.
When the nightly is finished automatically downloading, the dialog comes up asking to install it. But of course, itās the middle of the night and the tv is off. Somewhere between that dialog coming up and attempting to turn the TV on (via CEC) in the morning, it locks up:

The N2 does not respond to (bluetooth) remote button presses, JSON/RPC commands or SSH. I have to manually turn on the TV and I see a locked up machine with the ādo you want to install now?ā dialog. The only solution seems to be pulling power on the N2. The update then installs properly and all works correctly, but itās certainly not how I expect to be installing my automatic updates.
If your CEC is active you can suspend your N2 when the TV is off.
It is not a solution but a workaround.
Iām not a fan of that idea, as I donāt have a receiver, and use the N2ās onboard CEC to switch HDMI inputs on the TV (via shell script, launched by Echo Dot routine via Homebridge). The N2 would suspend every time I switched HDMI input and presumably Iād lose the switch-input-via-voice capabilities.
Reboot from eMMC/NAND not working in GT KING B922 in the latest 20190807 nighlty build.
Why would the N2 suspend when you switch HDMI input?
It suspends when you turn off your tv.
Same with me.
Okay, my last statement was a bit messed up.
I do not use my TVās remote for anything. Itās bulk and pretty much useless. I use a BT remote with my N2. The TV remote currently does nothing but collect dust in a drawer.
When the N2 is in suspend mode, I cannot SSH into it, nor will my BT remote wake it. I have then effectively shut off my N2 from my normal methods. The only thing that works is the TV remote (that I have zero use for, nor desire to use).
In addition, because Iām using the pulse-eight as a defacto HDMI switcher, Iāve also lost that functionality once the N2 is suspended (again; a lack of SSH means the shell script thatās launched by Homebridge hits a dead end). Iāve then lost any HomeKit/Alexa automation in regards to the TV.
I know Iām a niche case, but Iām also pretty sure itās not normal for a Kodi dialog to effectively lock a machine up, regardless of its function.
OK, understand. Iāll try to leave my N2 alive and see what happens tomorrow morning.
I remember sometimes I left my N2 running and when turn on the tv the update message was there but I had no problem to click ok.

Apparently a fix will be in the next nightly. (tonight)
I donāt know why I thought it was already fixed.
Iāve not had it lock up on the update dialog in the past either. This seems to be a recent development.
No lock up here today. Try to make a fresh install without any addon and other extra.
A little bit of feedback on tonights build (20190809).
I was intrigued by the update of TVH and in particular, Comskip.
Iāve been using Comskip for quite a while now and though I was generally happy with it, sometimes ads were missed or identified in the wrong place and of the wrong length. Not enough to cause frustration but just enough to be noticeable.
After testing tonights update though with 8 recordings, not only was ad detection correct in all instances, itās accuracy was also so spot on to the second.
So great job on this particular noticeable aspect of the build
hello, does anyone have the download link of nightly version 0804?
All available nightlys are here
