Everything looks normal. You just do the satellite configuration.
Test after update.
C4 still doesn’t work internal DVB tuner.
Sorry if it’s not the correct topic, but the internal tuner of my mecool ki pro burned and took the external power supply with it.
If I remove the tuner the ki pro boots fine, (with a new power supply), both android and coreelec.
Is there a way to source just the tuner board?
When I bought the mecool I think I saw it online but now I cannot find it anywhere.
I wouldn’t mind if it’s a different board as long as it has the same pin out, it has dvb-s2 and it works with coreelec.
The concept of internal tuners is been abandoned by manufacturers as most people are streaming now. Unless you get a drop in replacement board do not expect to be able to get it to work as very few of these exotic solutions are supported by LinuxTV (frankly a dying project).
I suggest SAT>IP is a better solution - if a little more expensive.
Shoog
I would be happy enough to source the same board
though it seems to be unobtanium right now
is the “WETEK Twin Tuner DVB-S2” working als with the N2(+) ? I want to use both tuners
This thread is stale for almost a year, but please help me with this guys,
I use a KI-Pro with CoreElec / TvHeadend as my daily driver, but I’ve been reading here for some time that you can actually use the KI-Pro’s internal tuner with the Odroid N2.
So i acquired an Odroid N2 (wanting something faster), but with the latest Matrix releases, i can’t find any separate **dvb.dtb for the N2 as i used to, in the device-trees folder. I only see one named “g12b_s922x_odroid_n2.dtb”.
Are the “dvb” and “non-dvb” dtb’s merged into this one?
Please confirm this guys, Thanks.
You need to enable DVB gpio in CE Settings, hardware.
Thanks Portisch, it’s clear now…
