I set the max bandwidth to 5000000 and no issues with slowdowns. Thanks for your advice!
I recalibrated manually to reset the edges to 0/0.
you should remove those overscans from guisettings.xml.
Ok, I’ll try that.
I have managed to get my RC6 to work. Protocols changed a bit so if anyone was using decode_type=0x1 for NEC it is now 0:
Please edit your config.ini.
decode_type=0xa
will give you both NEC and RC6. You can use plain ir-keytable -t to get RC6 wakeup keycodes.
This works with my MCE remote to wake it up:
remotewakeup=“0x800f040c”
decode_type=0xa
https://test.coreelec.org/ray/CoreELEC-Amlogic-ng.arm-9.0-devel-1556197774_RC6_etc_wakeup.tar
And whats about users with a RC-5 remote control?
I’ve tested it with the last nightly-version and edited the “config.ini” to:
remotewakeup=“0xa57” (thats the scancode I get from ir-keytable -t )
decode_type=“0x4”
But it doesn’t work.
For now it only works in my build. Because it wasn’t working before. But your wakeup keycode looks very short. You might have to look with uart if it doesn’t work.
sorry rookie question, how did you edit config.ini, its located in /flash/config.ini which is of course read only, do you copy that to somewhere in /storage and coreelec will pick it up and override?, if so where does it go?.
@binhex
To edit the config.ini file you need to remount the partition read / write
mount -o remount,rw /flash
ahh right!, i didnt know you could do that, awesome thanks.
There was some days ago in these huge thread a good “howto” to get the NEC ir-code and to change/edit the config.ini
I’ve copied this for myself and here is it:
thanks a ton for this!, really useful.
Remember that decode_type changed from 0x1 to 0 for NEC
Yes it’s a typo.
You guys are amazing. Have the N2 now for 10 minutes and all video formats where rock64 is lagging works:
- Video Hardware Decoding up to 4k h265 10bit
- TVheadend Server+Client works perfectly too, have to use the “latest kernel drivers” for SI2168 USB Stick (HW)
- Netflix (SW)
Bug List:
- DLNA doesnt work after reboot, I have to deactivate and activate it
Thank you very much for your work!
Anyone dry the N2 with a Logitech Harmony Remote?
Or with the Harmony hub (Bluetooth)
I know I need an Bluetooth dongle!
If it works maybe I buy an N2
My harmony remote works fine, configured as a MCE remote.
Works out the box.
Matt
can i ask what hardware you are using? xbox one usb tuner by any chance?.
SI2168 USB Stick " TechnoTrend TT-TVStick CT2-4400", works charming. Have to use the driver from the latest kernel
