Matt
Just return to another build.
Is this in the most recently nightly as noted in the changelog here:
dav1d: bump to 0.3.0 ??
I’d like to see if I can run the auto-update to test this versus flashing a new build.
Thanks.
I meant in future versions. Is that summit that be selected so the user can pick sensitivity?
@stillmatic yes as of the nightly for 20190501 the 0.3.0 version of dav1d is included.
With the bump to 0.3.0 most 720p AV1 plays good on the N2.
Keep in mind that it is still only a 0.3.0 release, but the progress is impressive.
Not sure yet what I will do about IR. Need to figure out deinterlace first. Funny thing was that default behavior was like bypass_all now. So I need to rethink that.
So whitelisting did allow me to play 4k media. But I still have a very strong stutter on the video on both 4k and 1080p along with sound that is slowed down immensely like it’s playing in slow motion.
Did you have this issue as well?
I have no issues with slowdown or stuttering. I am not on the nightly build though. I’m on the apr25 build.
Ah, weird. Yea, I got the same issue on the 1080p content on the Apr 25 build.
Seen something like this when system settings audio number of channels is more than 2.
AAC audio?
Hi, What’s the difference between Generic and Lepotato?
That’s good, for the N2?
https://relkai.coreelec.org/
As the name implies generic is for generic S905*, S912 boxes, and LePotato is for LePotato as Odroid.C2 for Odroid C2.
None of them are for the N2.
N2 nightly looks like these:
CoreELEC-Amlogic-ng.arm-9.0-nightly_20190501.tar
CoreELEC-Amlogic-ng.arm-9.0-nightly_20190423-Odroid_N2.img.gz
The img.gz has LePotato u-boot flashed already. But for update you only use one tar
That’s what it seemed to me, I was a little rushed, suddenly I blocked my N2. Is there a way to return to the predecessor state without losing everything ?
I’m on version 1556153587 and found only one annoying problem for my usage.
I can’t have any sound with the analog audio port. It work on Ubuntu but not with Corelec.
Not sure if a known problem.
I tried all the choice on the syste config without succes.
aplay -l give the good audio list. is it possible to select analog by command line (to put it in autostart script)?
Anyway great job to have running Coreelec on the N2.
Just take out the emmc/SD and write manual the kernel & system file from the new tar. This will update Linux but leave everything else untouched.
What is the actual status?
Does InputStreamAdaptive (Netflix) already work?
Does LiveTV via TVHeadend work? DVB (USB) Tuner should work as i already saw.
Does Hyperion.ng work?
yes, yes and yes.
Hello. Testing N2 for a week. Everything works fine just some strange behaviour of Hyperion.ng. I’m using latest nightly and the latest hyperion.ng service addon (9.1.100.3). With the resolutions under 1080p all works perfect but on 1080p videos horizontal leds shows random colours but vertical show correct colours. Does anybody have the same behaviour? I have used this hw setup with S905 and S912 and everything works as it should.
