@Mango, assume you installed CE properly, with dovi.ko? I’d test w/CE first to make sure DV is playing as expected, then try PlexKodiConnect. I use Plex mostly for out-of-the-home streaming of my content, but find DV playback spotty vs. CE/Kodi.
If a bug, then it’s only for you, since many AM6B+ users here have none problems with any DV profiles.
I’ve been using the 21.2 stable version for the past 25-26 days and I haven’t faced any issues so far. Everything is running smoothly. I don’t have an audio system, so I can’t comment on passthrough.

Thanks a lot. Although I was reading into the topic, I wasn’t aware that I have to add these files to the installation. Not sure why this is excluded in the first place from the installation explained on the website.
Anyway it works now.
Does the official Ugoos AM6B+ Dual boot firmware already have FEL 7 and BDMV menu preloaded on it ?

Hello there. First thing, BIG thanks to CoreELEC team for this great OS.
I have got a new UGOOS AM6b+ and trying to install the CE 21.2 (nightly, generic) to its eMMC. Booted it with uSD card, no problem.
SSH, ceemmc -x, #1 option (Dual Boot)
“Not enough space on eMMC for the installation “
“Continue?”
It has 3799Mb free space .
I used this guide for the installation, [Guide] S922X-J (Ugoos AM6b+) CoreELEC installation and FAQs
I’m paralyzed so my access to my computer is limited (will be using my computer tomorrow, I will copy and paste the SSH if needed). I wanted to ask so I can be prepared.
Should I factory reset the AM6b+?
uSD card is 16GB Verbatim (premium class 10) , should I rewrite the image?

Install it with single boot option if you want it on the emmc.
If you need android you’ll have to boot it from sd card or usb.

I have re-release 054n
And have installed CoreELEC on internal with Android 9 in Dualboot
Both OS on internal no issues
Blazing fast
Machine boots CoreELEC first by Default
Reboot from eMMc/nand in CoreELEC takes you to Ugoos 054n Android 9
Long press power button in Android/use restart option
Boots to CoreELEC!!!

If you do not care about Android then choose single boot

How many size of disk have you after install coreelec to dualboot. And what is doing single boot only of CE with android ? (Would be safe dir of Android firmware?) I need only android firmware partition. Very old Android 9 from chinese maker is not my cup of cafe.

I prefer Dualboot
I have a problem playing a dvd. I have tried playing it as the iso file and as folders. Every time the same thing happens. The menu shows up but the screen just flickers to black and you have to wait for a minute or two until it goes away. The remote is unresponsive and doesnt seem to work in the menu. I managed to open the first episode by just spamming the ok button but that is the only thing i could do with the remote.
I have tried with both a sandisk usb and a usb enclosure with a hdd in it. Same thing happens. Here is the mediainfo of the iso. " Lupin the 3rd: The Complete First Series (4-Disc Set)

I could not fit the entire mediainfo because it exceeded the character limit. Here is the rest of the mediainfo.
Edit: I started with the latest nightly generic build. I then tested the latest stable build. The difference is that when i used the stable build the iso wouldnt load at all. It just went to a black screen. This changed when i picked the option to “skip introduction before dvd menu”. After that i got into the menu with no flickering. But the navigation does still not work. It appears when i press the buttons it does navigate somewhere but it doesnt show on the screen thus making picking episodes or options impossible. For example i managed to press down a few times and then the “ok” button. And then i did not see a new menu. Just invincible options and the pointer going to different places on the screen when i pressed different directions.
I need help in resolving the issue I have. I just purchased AM6b+ box. I prepared boot material using rufus on both microSD and USB drive using file CoreELEC-Amlogic-ng.arm-21.2-Omega-Generic.img.gz and renamed “g12b_s922x_ugoos_am6b” from device tree to dtb.img and put on the root folder as well as dovi.ko. And I used ‘toothpick’ method for rebooting. However, the boot stuck at Amlogic logo as shown in the picture. The logo is displayed for about 10 seconds ad then disappear for about 5 seconds and this cycle is repeated forever until I turn off the power. The firmware of the box is 0.5.4n.
I searched this discussion and couldn’t find any post for the same issue. What I could have done wrong? Any suggestion is appreciated. Thanks.
What size SD and USB are you using?

And dont leave the Button!!!
Press and keep pressing the Recovery button on the bottom of the device, then Power ON the device while keep pressing the Recovery button until the CoreELEC screen appears.
First Release the Recovery Button, when you see the CoreELEC screen.
Dont forget the UR01 remote.conf in the root.
32GB for both microSD and USB which is a USB 3.0 drive.
