The Future: Odroid N2

My TV did not support HDR,
so I put
echo 1 > /sys/module/am_vecm/parameters/hdr_mode
to Configfiles\autostart.sh as your wrote.
but not working, What I missed?

What do you mean not working?
Have you tried echo 0 to the same place?

hdr_mode is for HDR into SDR conversion. So when your TV doesn’t support HDR it will try to map the colors for SDR.
It is already in auto mode so you don’t need to do anything.

Maybe I’m wrong, but I think no HDR to SDR, Because the picture is gray.

It works to a certain point. Works good for me here. If you disable it with “0” it will be worse.

Sorry,My fault,it works

Does it look good? What was the problem?

Yes, it looks good, My monitor’s problem, Does n2 have force rgb output?

Can anyone recommend a working 802.11ac wifi dongle available in the UK? odroid.co.uk only seem to have .11n adaptors. Is there anything I can pick up from amazon.co.uk that works? Thanks.

Mine was delivered this morning from odroid uk.

Looking forward to playing with it later.

Matt

Mine arrived today and I have installed the 10th April build on it. So far no real issues, seems good! Willing to test some stuff, I have Sony X90F HDR 4k TV.

So does anyone know how to add an optical S/PDIF port to this?

You can get a cheap HDMI SPDIF splitter, unless you need 4K/HDR support.

Easiest way with a HDMI splitter like this one

The one I bought did 4K and was also powered by the USB from the box most of the pins are wired straight through on the HDMI connecter. I will see if I can find the link from when I bought it.
