Can anyone help me I have a sk1 ugoos device I want the remote file please
I used a file remote.conf for the Ugoos UR-01 or remote.conf for the Tencent Aurora 5 X remote
Did not work definitively
you can use the file here.Remember to change the name to remote.conf

hi need some help i received this box ugoos sk1 s928x-k ive installed ce latest nightly build i used this dtb image s5_s928x_tencent_aurora_5x.dtb it shows that total memory is 3.9 GB the box is 8 GB have i done something wrong all working apart from showing half its memory
There is no dedicated DTB file for this device yet that’s why it shows less ram.

Hi box keeps locking up and sluggish I’ve tried WiFi and ethernet I’m currently using 32gb SanDisk in usb 3 I’ve also tried It in usb 2port is there anything else that I can try ?

@vpeter I installed CE successfully on my Ugoos SK1 sample and so far it is working as expected. A big thank you to the CE team. Great job! When I try to use ceemmc program to transfer data from USB stick to internal emmc, I get the following error message:
System is not supported: s5_s928x_tencent_aurora_5x!
Is there any chance to overcome this limitation in future? I read in S928 thread that it should be possible…
Edit: Another finding. CE only shows 4 GB RAM instead of 8 GB.

I’m not dancing with niceties, the Ugoos SK1 is garbage,
My Ugoos SK1 is a very, very regretful purchase. People are stating it is “Netflix” certified but if you install the app, it only plays at ~240p, it’s ugly. If you install Chrome and try Netflix at netflix.com, it states that the browser doesn’t support their DRM and that you should update the browser, but the browser is already updated :-/
It’s the same for Amazon Prime. If you install the app and play a video the resolution is about ~240p, although sometimes “HD” (720p) will pop-up, but it will disappear shortly there after.
The remote is GARBAGE!!! You have to enable the accelerometer/cursor to properly navigate ALL apps besides Kodi… it’s such a pain in the ass. After simply playing with it for about an hour I noticed that my wrist was starting to become exhausted, which isn’t something you really ever notice unless you’re intentionally stressing your wrist (eg. using the Ugoos SK1 remote).
No, it doesn’t support FEL.
I’m looking at the calendar and sure enough the year is 2024, NOT 2007. There is no excuse at this price level of product outside of a cash grab, which it most certainly is. IMO, anyone talking this thing up is either not really using it, getting paid to talk about it or they are new to computers connected to displays.
Buy ANYTHING else 1/2 the price and you’ll receive at least the same equal experience, it won’t be worse!!
FYI we don’t use android or discuss it here. FEL is software only.

here only discussed CE, anyway, if your main concern is official streaming apps Netflix, Amazon Prime, etc, go for Dune HD you will get support CE and official stream apps, or any device support ATV then will get full support apps.
