Upgrade to 8.99.1 S912 H96 Pro+ cannot turn on with remote

Hi,

As title says - I updated to 8.99.1 on my S912 H96 Pro+ box.
Everything went well & remote worked ok.

However the box won’t switch back on with the remote.The only way I can turn on box is by unplugging / plugging power back in. Once booted into CoreELEC, the remote works fine.

I’ve checked and I have no remote.conf file anywhere!
I have previously used the files from here NEW Repo for Remote files (Thanks to Betatester)

Please can anyone shed any light on this?

P.S - where has the 8.99.1 discussion thread gone - it’s disappeared?

That is the problem of the u-boot of the box and not of coreelec.

Thanks for the replies… I redownloaded the update file, re-updated, rebooted and all is well.

Don’t know why didn’t work originally, but it does now!
