Wetek Play 2

I still use Raybuntu’s old version on a Wetek Play 2. I wanted to try the new Corelelc now, but the installation seems a bit tedious. I don’t know which processor is in a WP2 (905 or 912) nor do I know which device tree I need.

Thanks for providing the info. I am also wondering how I could find that info without opening the WP2?

The Wetek Play 2 uses an S905 SoC.

There is a dedicated dtb just for the WP2:

Which DTB do I use?

As part of the CoreELEC install process you are required to copy a device tree from the device_trees folder on your sdcard/flash drive to the root folder of your sdcard/flash drive and rename it to dtb.img, failure to do so will result in either your box being unable to boot or network problems. Every device is built differently and there is so many to choose from on the market, you can find a list of some of these devices along with the corresponding DTB you must use on our download page here. …
