So you will need to check with the addon author what’s wrong. Did you reinstall the fresh addon?
Because when it’s from a backup it’s wrong arm architecture. Amlogic-no is aarch64 and Amlogic-ng was arm before.
Its a fresh installation from coreelec repo version 21.0.0
The bin file is different from the ng Version
If I disable the addon and then I enable it ,coreelec crashes and I have to
power off the device

Make a backup of your Hyperion and then remove it completely. Then try to install this one:
I am not 100% sure if it’s compatible as it’s two months ago build.

Well, unfortunately - still no effect. I reinstall, reconfigured hyperion and restarted kodi. Still no backlight both in the Kodi menu (without playback) and when playing Netflix. Disney, local files - work

The issue which affects the sundtek tuners has been found in coreelec the kernel is missing SYSV-IPC, CoreELEC will be updated and the tuners should work again.

Thats`s not a matter of the size. I have with a 32 GB card the same problem. Reboot requires a power off/on. (S905X3)

I tried the image you gave yesterday and the tuners worked, it was great.
Even the CA feature of the tuners worked, and I was very happy about that. Because this feature never worked before. And I got rid of the server on the PC.
But there is a problem with 5980: Some satellite channels (FTA channels) freeze.
After a little research, this problem occurs on channels with high BER values in the Satellite Signal.
There is no such problem in 5990.
In addition, channel transitions are also very satisfactory.

Maybe, or because the 5980 is an older model.
