sc2_s905x4_x96_x4. wifi works fine on 20251006, stopped working on 20251007 and 20251008, for latter only p2p interface is shown. Bluetooth works well on 20251008.
Thanks. Makes perfect sense.
Thank you so much for the latest nightly CoreELEC-Amlogic-no.aarch64-22.0-Piers_nightly_20251008
X96Max+ Ultra is now fully supported by CE-NO, thanks to Team-CEās work. Everything works nicely, Ethernet, WiFi, BT, VFD, IR Remote, and hardware decoding for vc1, av1, h265 and h264.
Absolute perfection. Much Appreciated.
Care to share where can I find the tar for this build? Thanks!
Search? https://relkai.coreelec.org/
You will need to share such ābrokenā sample.
All my samples just work fine, 4k, HDR or not with Nā. All work as it should.
Try fresh, clean install and check your HDMI cable!
I have seen only P2P when I disabled/renamed WIFI SSID on router which was my box using. THis happened after rebooting box. Maybe this is the problem.
No log, no problem.
Or better share device with tmate.
Search Wiki!
4k HDR sample is here, thanks;
And yes its been a clean install. HDMI cable is fine as I have NG build on another microSD card and that plays 4K HDR with no issue.
Play just fine, 4K23.975 444 BT2020 10b HDR 371MHz
You have a N2, rev.a SoC. g12b_w400_a
So this is might the issue. I donāt have such old deviceā¦
EDIT:
@all If you are in EU and have a N2 rev.a please contact me. Maybe we can arrange a exchange with my N2+ rev.b.
embarrassing
I am also with g12_w400_a. I am based in the UK
Small note: nowadays UK is not in EU. There is risk of duty fee.
In last build is frozen playing of some videos through youtube addons from CE repository.
Examle after 1 minute plying of this video is frozen screen in last build of CE22NO:

Mentioned it, as Iād love to exchange, but in the UKā¦
Maybe I get already one offer. No request is need right now.
thanks for the reply, I disabled the wifi and re-enabled it, in CoreELEC settings, then it works immediately! Cheers!
There seem to be a bug introduced 3 or 4 nightlies ago in the ssh terminal. The terminal prompt is overly long as below

It used be just the host name and path in the earlier releases as X96Max:~ # Anyone else will this problem?
The device is X96Max+ Ultra (4GB RAM, 100Mbps Ethernet model) running on aml-w1 WiFI
Also since the last two nightlies the device after a shutdown (or restart) does not come backup again. Both IR remote and CEC refuse to power on the device. I have to physically pull out the power and plug back in for the box to start up again. But once it is up it runs flawlessy. Any suggestions to fix this issue?
However another issue occurred after activate the wireless network, the device failed to reboot. Have to unplug the power cord to boot it up. If I disable wireless network, the device will be able to reboot normally. Also every time it reboots I have to disable and re-enable wireless to make wifi work.
Maybe send logs with only P2P, then after reenabling wifi, reboot. I do not have access to my device this week. I think it can help to solve the problem for other users. Guide is here: coreelec:debuglogs [CoreELEC Wiki]
