s7d_s905x5m_4g_1gbit.dtb is what I use. What version of Android is it running? It might need an update. Have you tried it with a different dtb, such as s7d_s905x5m_2g_1gbit.dtb or s7d_s905x5m_4g.dtb?

It’s working now - it wouldn’t start on yesterday’s nightly update - but it did start on Alpha 3.

Be more specific. What kind of ISO? DVD? And from where (local storage, NFS, samba, http)?
No issue here on AM9, playing over HTTP, file 24GB Song.Sung.Blue.2025.1080p.BluRay.DD5.1-BR-25-ISO.iso.
I’m playing it from a USB stick. The Blu-ray video information is as shown in the screenshot. It won’t play at all on the AM8. On the AM9 Pro, it plays after the device or Kodi has been restarted.

And how do you play it? Just select it and when dialog appear select to play main title?
Looks all good on AM9.
Your sample plays fine on AM8 box, but I do it from nfs source.

The same USB stick plays without any issues on other King Pro II, X96 M300 and Ugoos SK1 devices.
I think I’ll need to perform a clean install for the AM8 and AM9 Pro
The “skin.estuary.modv2” interface and its plugins causing the issue in AM8.
After a clean installation of AM9 Pro, Blu-ray videos are played using the ‘skin.estuary.modv2’ interface

Not sure what’s happening but I get this and no video out as Kodi crashes on my odroid n2. it’s also happening on the latest nightly..
Ah this happened because advanced input (aka 4k etc.) got disabled and Kodi didn’t like it I will upload the Crashlog soon
I’m running a fresh build, and playing back a remux file occasionally crashes Kodi. The video hangs, audio stutters and after a while, the box reboots itself. No crash logs are left behind and the normal log doesn’t really show anything.
Which debug log options should I set to trace this one? I’m afraid the log will be a very long one since it can take 15-20 minutes for the crash to occur.
I have seen also a crash today with 1080p GUI and start a 4k DV movie. I got pink colour and then the box did reboot.
All try to find a way to reproduce the issue and then past logs. Enable debug logging in Kodi.
After the reboot the kodi.log.old should show some info maybe.
Also helpful is to downgrade nightlies until the start of the issue is found:

Im using 1080 gui with TV no DV but CE plays HDR10.
No issues on 3 movies and 3 test files.

I didn’t find anything related to the crash in the debug log (without component specific logging enabled). These are the last lines.
I’ll try and see if I could find the nightly which works. In my case, this is just a normal SDR 1080p remux with DTS-HD MA 5.1 audio.
