Amlogic-no Discussion

You all need to compare CE-22 NE and CE-22 NO.
So we first know it’s a Kodi or Kernel issue.

Ugoos SK1 wireless and HDMI CEC not working.

Yep, Flashed Android firmware, booted into Android once then installed CoreELEC-no. CoreELEC boots but I get this screen:-

Sure, mine boots as well, I just can’t play media, see screenshoot in above post.

Reinstall Android. The warning will go away.

Had the same message on my X96 X10. Took out the uSD card from the port, inserted it into a USB Adapter, plugged it in and now it boots into CE again.

I have already re-flashed the android firmware twice now, it makes no difference.

Then you might have a not compatible Android image I guess as I also remember it was working.

It’s working for other people with the X96 X10, why would my android image be any different?

Post version from it so others can compare.

Try resetting the Android system and reinstalling it.It happened with AM8 and GT King II and it was solved this way

If it doesn’t work yet, revert to the old version and install the new version again.
We 4 friends had this problem with AM8 latest version.

Thanks, but I’ve tried all of this, factory restored the box, re-flashed android multiple time, tried different nightlies. Same result :frowning:

I have Android TV OS build: 20240507-1412 and everything works.
I check for updates and seems this is last version available.

I think it may be that my box is just the X96 X10, is yours the PRO version?

I can confirm this, that’s why I went back to Amlogic-ng, but I can install Amlogic-no again and create logs. But I need a version before 20.12.24, all later versions have the boot error.

So I took a chance and flashed the X96 X10 PRO firmware on to my non-PRO box.

Android switches to Dolby Vision during boot and just boots to a green screen because the box doesn’t support DV, so I hooked it up to a non DV monitor to allow it to boot and changed the preferred HDR mode from DV to HDR.

CoreELEC-no boots fine and media playback now works :+1:
