Amlogic-no Discussion

Will now DV work with dovi.ko on CE?

Put version and earlier in the link to find.

Version 20241231 NO Does not boot either!

Unfortunately no.

CoreELEC still reports DV is supported but playing DV content switches my TV to DV mode but I just get a solid blue screen. The chip in X96 X10 non-PRO box is just the S928 not the j or k version.

Put keyboard to tv box before start, let ce boot, if is terminal prepared so put command dmesg and take photo of output of screen here. Also soild be good look for a reason of crash of boot through next commands: dmesg | less and scroll pages of outputs through pushing space button.

How you think we should solve such issue without any report?

That’s not always the case. Mine is non-pro and has DV support.

unknow kernel command … "Boot_Image=kernel.img… !!!

There is no need for 3 exclamation marks!

This line is just a message from the kernel because the options listed there are used from userspace.

OK, but why do all versions since 20122024 CE-NO no longer start?

The disk=UUID are different.

With the current NO version “CoreELEC-Amlogic-no.aarch64-22.0-Piers_nightly_20241231-Generic.img” everything looks very good so far on Ugoos AM8pro. DV and CEC works fine. Only VC-1 videos are pixelated.

The UUID is different after every burn.
You use petiboot? Now burn nighlty 20241231 on same media and try to boot.
When stop booting run dmesg on TV and make a picture on last image on TV.

Yes, I use petiboot

And uSD? Switch over to MMC mode and try again.
Latest petitboot version is used?

I only start from MMC, Yes the last Petiboot version.
