• no need to turn off the TV, I just switch the input on the home theater amplifier, then when I switch it back to CoreELEC, no picture is displayed.

In MMC mode it just start fine. So petitboot does not support current kernel.img maybe!?

Updated, issues found on AM8 Pro with CoreELEC nightly build 20250102 / Amlogic-no (kernel 5.15.137) :

• While playing an HDR movie, Artifact flashes appear every time you move forward or backward.
• When reading a movie, we get a black screen when DV is set to TV-LED (RGB 4:4:4).
• I am experiencing abnormally very low GUI performance. About 100% less framerate compared to the CE-21 build and CE-22 (5.4.210) : 30 FPS VS 15 FPS on average (The UI is set to 4K resolution with no scaling on all tests.). Maybe GPU driver issues?
• Permanent signal loss when changing sources. Forced to reboot to recover the image.
• Tone map SDR to HDR function that darkens the interface abnormally; when Dolby vision mode is not activated. And which sends a definitive black screen, when this function is applied and Dolby Vision is activated. Tip: if this happens to you, simply deactivate Dolby Vision from your TV and restart everything to find an image.

This is because of the seek to nearest I-frame.
As it’s only 1 frame it’s minor minor issue and maybe will never be fixed.

I did already request how we can “technical” test and compare. For me it works normal on Minix U8K, S928X.

Don’t know about source, but know that I had to ping @tobetter at Hardkernel to make a new version for every new CE kernel version, which he did almost the same day I asked him.
