Generic unbranded W2 Android TV box with S905W2 SoC using s4_s905w2_2g.dtb
System did automatic upgrade to 20250210. Didn’t have a lot of time for testing and didn’t get log files. Didn’t get any lockups requiring the power cord being pulled but it generally seemed quite sluggish with button press and menu navigation delays.
Next small sad bug: bad timezone for central Europe on CE22NO with set country Slovakia (in winter time it now showed in coreelec wrong extra 1 hour back). For comparation on CE21NG is it ok.
Works fine using CoreELEC-Amlogic-ne.aarch64-21.1.1-Omega-Generic so I doubt that it is just because it is S905W2. Also worked better with 20250204 and 20250205 so definitely something to do with 20250210.
I still cant get my WMC remote(s) HP remote etc.to work consistently with NO. Perfect with NG and NE.
I asked earlier if there is a way to “copy” embedded remote files from the other builds into NO or can show me how?.
I use the HP remote on all my boxes as it works without mods with all previous releases with a lot of extra key functions. ( I set my box up in Harmony to be a Windows pc and the Harmony remote also works on the 2 other builds but is problematic on NO.
I looked here for WMC remotes but couldnt see any. Actually I dont understand what to look for there
I did a fresh install of CE22-NO on my AM8 Pro and have an issue with the NFS browser when adding a source for the library, it won’t even try to open anything and probably just pops these lines into the Kodi log. I have not changed anything related to my network or the NFS server itself, the IP of the connecting box is the same as before, and the NFS connection did work fine with CE21-NE.

2025-02-15 10:45:00.014 T:1453 error : CGUIDialogFileBrowser::GetDirectory(nfs://) failed
Any ideas?
EDIT: Looks like I can access the shared directory just fine if I add it manually as a source without using the browser.
After updating to the latest nightly (20250215) appears “Missing partition ‘super’ on eMMC! No media playback possible!” and the playback is really not possible.
I have CoreELEC installed on Micro SD card (not internal eMMC).
Logs are here: paste.coreelec.org/EmperorMutated
Going back to 20250211 fixed the issue.
Same issue here. Going back to 20250214 also worked.
TOX3 S905x4, CoreELEC installed on Micro SD Card.
I tried installing the Slimbox ATV Android ROM but it made no difference.
Once you install 20250215 version of CE, you get the “super partition not installed”, and playback is not possible.
