Hi guys, when trying playback in Dolby vision it freezes for me (same size file plays fine in hdr). Was not doing this on the first day of install everything played fine. Now as soon as DV logo appears on my LG C3 it freezes. So trying to reinstall Coreelec to see if it fixes.
Apologies if this has already been asked, I’ve been searching the forum for hours
Not a tech guy, so if someone could please explain how to do a clean install when I have already dual booted Coreelec to the emmc on my am6b+
Tried a clean install on usb, Dolby plays a little but still freezing up.
I’m using WiFi so tried doing a speed test with speed test Addon in case that’s the issue and it picks up 26ms ping but then is just in a loading cycle for the download saying please wait. Tried same thing on Kodi on an Xbox series x and getting 160ms down
Am6b plus is meant to have WiFi 6 so don’t understand why there’s a problem? Did a speed test as well on reboot to android and got 190mbs Down, so definitely feels like the issue is Coreelec.
I have not asked for support with this I have asked why Dolby files are freezing and if it’s an internet issue?
Why is coreelec not able to run a Speedtest if it’s picking up ping but nothing else and the am6b when booted on android is getting a fine internet connection?
Does the Speedtest addon in the Kodi repository work on latest coreelec nighty ng?
Does the Speedtest addon on Kodi work on most recent nightly ng?
Why is it not getting a download and upload speed when the android partition is so it can’t be a problem with the am6b+ it must be coreelec that is the issue. Correct?
Any reason why it wouldn’t be working on a clean install? Just can’t wrap my head round it when the box itself is getting a connection on android boot, but not connecting on speed test on coreelec Kodi
I don’t understand why it is so hard to open this log link and look inside.
You can see there that addon script.speedtester has some python issue. That’s probbaly the reason it doesn’t run correctly.
Is the link to the Am6b+ guide not the correct way to install CoreELEC on this device. It paints it out to be this easy installation but now you’re telling me I’ve done it wrong? That guide clearly states it’s a guide for installing on this device, no?
Ive literally only followed the instructions in this thread. Just telling me to do a clean install isn’t very helpful, so if you could please explain where and what I should do that would be appreciated
