BT earbud connection issue

Hi all
I just buy this 5.1 BT Umidigi Earbuds (https://community.umidigi.com/portal.php?mod=view&aid=510) and I can connect them to 9.2 CE ng (or Matrix Rc2 and nightly) … I see them “connected” when I open CE but I have no sound and I have to disconnect and reconnect them in CE BT profile first before to get “really” connected where Its supposed to be connected automatically … I have to do this before to use this BT earbuds and each time I want to use it.

I tried to delete them in CE BT profile with a reboot and enable them but its the same… I see My BT get connected in CE BT device when I power my earbud but I get no sound I have to disconnect and reconnect manually to get sound.

There is my log 9.2ng http://ix.io/3rVp
Matrix nightly http://ix.io/3sTF

Any clue welcome !

Thx

Try a newer version of CE.

This one work very well as I can say “perfectly” excepted this issue I mean I’m not sure an update will fix it …

I get an automatic update to 21-04-2021 nightly and its the same issue …

I use to have automatic BT connection issues.

I no longer do with more recent builds.

Write it to a new SD card/flash drive and see.

I just get an automatic update to 21-04-2021 nightly and its the same issue … what do you mean by “more recent build” ? like Matrix ? Is it possible to update to 9.2.7 from my nightly and how ?

Yes, Matrix is worth looking at, whether using the latest general release or a nightly build.

You just download the tar file and put it into the .update folder and reboot.

But it is also a good idea to do a fresh install of a Matrix/Nightly build to an sd card and connect using a completely new installation.

If it works then you can update your existing set-up and if it doesn’t then your existing set-up remains as is and other options can be investigated.

Ahhhhhhrrrggggrrr I don’t like Matrix really … well I will stay as is may be reinstall the tweak for automatic BT connect

For the sake a of a few minutes of effort to see if a fresh install at least resolves the problem, such that when you eventually migrate to Matrix you know that it may not be an issue to have concern about.

Yes.

Anyway thank you for your time and help …

I’m disappointed

I was hoping to fix and operate my earpieces … 8-((

it is very frustrating

Don’t give up on a fix just yet as others may have useful advice.

To rule out an add-on as a possible problem it is also useful to do a fresh install to a card with the version that you are using and attempting to recreate the problem before adding anything.

The only change I did who would coincide with this new BT issue would be the new skin estuaridya (to see the SoC CPU %) There were also many updates of some IPTV / TV LIVE Kodi supplements but I do not see how it could interfere with the BT …

But there lies the value of a fresh set-up to completely eliminate changes and even if we, users do not see a reason for something not to work, a dev, with their greater knowledge and understanding, might do.

Unfortunately I don’t have time to play the mechanics to dismantle all the vehicle change the motor reset wheel after wheel to see which wheel is defective … lol … Yes it is a long-term work which need time to do to try you have to be attentive and during this time the system is out of order
In other hands I use everything that is currently installed (very little in reality only IPTV, Estuaridya, and LIVE TV) and I can not delete it if this is the cause of the problem so it’s useless to check about that I think.
May be a corrupted file but which one, this is the point. If any dev have any clue Welcome !

Hi all
T95 Max + 4/32 CE 9.2 nightly / Matrix nightly and Rc2

I have to do this before to use this BT earbuds and each time I want to use it.

I have to do this with another earbud which work good before too…

I tried to delete them in CE BT profile with a reboot and enable them but its the same…

I want to be clear as I can I see My BT get connected in CE BT device list when I power my earbud but I get no sound I have to disconnect and reconnect manually in CE device list to get sound.

There is my log 9.2 http://ix.io/3rVp
Matrix nightly http://ix.io/3sTF

I’m looking to do a full RESET of the CE config BT file but I don’t know where its located and I would’nt reinstall full fresh build to retrieve the BT use its too frustrating…

So any clue welcome !

Thx

Please try to don’t scatter the same .issue through various topics. BT is completely dependant of what you connect to it. We’ll check what’s happening in this case.

Ok sorry
Thanks 8-))

I have 3 different earbuds bt and none function now. Everything worked well a month ago and trying this new BT headset I am caught that nothing work now. There have been some updates of Kodi supplements like InputHelper or IPTV but excepted Estuaridya I have almost nothing installed …

I do not know if it can be useful but the only way to have sound with My HDTV (HDMI) is with the Alsa HDMI multi ch out or default HDMI

This morning I tried the setting of Vevs (bt-audio-switch.sh) and I got the same issue with no BT sound but when I power off my BT earbuds it switched me on default ALSA:hdmi:CARD=AMLM8AUDIO,DEV=0 and I have no sound. I have to reselect HDMI out in kodi sound setting to retrieve it

I will try with Matrix nightly build when I have time to do but I’m pretty sure that in 1/2 months its the same issue this is why I want to know whats happens here and why

I am little deaf and hard of hearing people I need this BT functional … So I will really appreciate help about this issue to reset or anything else …
Please H.E.L.P

I do not understand very well this line :
