CE-22 NO: Looking for users with no working WiFi or BT

Another X88 Pro X5M 4G running nightly (current latest 20251025).

No wifi or bluetooth, empty lspci/lsusb
I believe I also have the EA6521QF chip, directly on board where a module would usually be.

Looks like you’ve tried in the past but it’s still incomplete. I have enabled tshare as x88-pro-x5m-cossid if you’d like to give it another shot.

We see the device online but it will take some time to make research and tests.
So please keep it online and check if a hard reset is need, thx!

Hi CE team, Ugoos AM8 and SK1 have been upgraded to Android 14.This Android 14 version has caused network issues on these devices. Is resolving these issues on your agenda?

Tanix TX4 (S905x4) WIFI shows only p2p0 until I do manual restart of the wireless controller. Then wlan0 appears and wifi connects.

Another problem is with waiting for update “InputStream Adaptive”, “InputStream FFmpeg Direct” and “RTMP Input” plugins - they appear disabled and cannot be updated via plugins update when I establish wireless connection.

udevadm: paste.coreelec.org/RebuildPersian

dmesg: paste.coreelec.org/VarietyTouchy

edit: Latest working nightly: 22.0-Piers_nightly_20251003

Next nightly should include the wifi driver for the EA6X21QX chip.
No idea if it working stable or not. No support for bluetooth!

This is the problem with such chinese products as there is no info or support by sources.

Take what you get and accept it!

Thank you for taking the time to look into it!

I can confirm that wifi is connected and working well, and as mentioned, no bluetooth after updating the X88 Pro X5M.

Do you mean that after upgrading the AM8 Pro to Android TV 14 (2.0.2) and flashing CoreELEC, both wired and wireless networks become unavailable? What else fails to work properly? Then I need to consider whether to upgrade or not.

yes, both wired and wireless networks become unavailable.

Just tested, wired network ethernet still works fine on AM8 with firmware 2.0.2.
Wifi is broken, same issue with AM9. It’s releated to the Android 14 upgrade.

Ugoos changed something what we were not get told.
We have no idea how to solve this issue.

After waiting a while with SK1 product software 2.0.2, the wired network connection also disconnects.

We found the reason why WiFi is not working on Ugoos AM8 and AM9 because of Android 14.

So since new nightly 20251116 both devices need to have minimum Android 14 installed to get WiFi work again. Older Android uses a older TEE TA in bootloader and is not compatible anymore.

Upon hearing this wonderful news, I installed Android 14 on my SK1 device.

Thank you CE team, With the CoreELEC-Amlogic-no.aarch64-22.0-Piers_nightly_20251117 version, both wired and wireless connections are working on my SK1 device running Android 14.

After AM8 Pro is upgraded to Android TV 14, CoreELEC can’t be flashed to eMMC, probably due to partition issues.

I’m not running CoreElec from eMMC. I’m running it from an SD card. I’ve never tried running it from eMMC.

I conducted an oscilloscope test and the 47w3155
module was not receiving a clock signal SDIO.

You will make best a dmesg from Android or also maybe a ADB bugreport is working to.

Then it’s easiest to enable tmate so we can take a look next week:
