I would be delighted if BT pairing worked automatically in CE, as it does with ATV. That would be great. At the moment, this is not the case; you have to do it via IR remote or manually with wirelles Mouse.

I have the same problem now.

I wanted to test CE 22 on my Homatics dune R 4k+. After first installation I got a warning that my android kernel version should be at least 5.15.137. So I installed the latest available in internet image - 14.8.4576, kernel 5.15.153 (higher than required). Then I installed the latest CE 22 build, but still the same message about missing kernel version requirement and no DV support. Moreover WiFi can not be connected – network IO error every time. And lastly with with firmware / android version of the box I can not install any other CE version anymore. Installation process does not start going in cycles just showing homatics logo for a couple of seconds. Any advice would be helpful.

Ok as I read other topics about Homatics Dune box, I see that ATV14 supports only NG and NO.

But it is a bit confusing though as NG is older than NE release. Also extra dovi.ko driver was mentioned to enable DV on NO release and ATV14.

No, CE-NG is EOL.

All get issues about video codecs,. colours or DV.

Use CE-NO, latest nightly and all will be solved!

Yes I installed CoreELEC-Amlogic-no.aarch64-22.0-Piers_nightly_20251003-Generic.img.gz

At least this build was able to properly display the picture and with dovi.ko file also play DV.

But WiFi is not working for me and I can not configure IR remote the same way as I did on CE21.

With a Vertex2, CE should work as LLDV like it’s in setting but greyed out !

Yes, because your log only shows LLDV, nothing else. What should be selectable?

But makes it sense? Watching DV on non DV TV will not work without tone mapping.

It will show wrong colours.

Ok, So it’s what I want, now need to figure out why Kodi crash on some movie, I have one where I can’t reproduce all the time.

But with a Vertex2 with Custom DV, tone mapping works, at least, I can see that some DV sample (eagle one for ex) the brightness change, so it’s mean that DTM is working based on the sample played ?

The current version of CE21 lacks proper DVD-Video support. I hope that this will be fixed in the new version of Kodi. Right now, the Ugoos AM6B+ could be the perfect device for all video formats, but the inability to watch DVD-Video prevents it from being so.

Many thanks to Portisch for the work on WiFi driver.

WiFi supports now all security features and is able to connect on CE22 / ATV14.
