Does TVHeadend 4.3 support Common Interface (ie, CI CAM Slot)?

Greetings,

Does TVHeadend 4.3 support Common Interface (ie, CI CAM Slot)?
For WeTek Play 2, Mecool K1 Pro.

Or when will this feature be supported?
I have 2 CAM in my hand, but unfortunately I’m watching from the computer.

I will be very happy if this problem is solved.

Best regards…

I’m afraid there is no CI slot on KI Pro where you could insert the module.
I’m not aware of any USB solution yet so how you imagine the CoreElec could support the modules?

Greetings,

Of course not, you’re right.
I gave him incomplete information, apology.

I have 2 USB-Tuners with CI-Slot. These tuners work very well in ARM boxes as FTA, but because of the CI feature is not working, I’m obsessed with it.
My problem is, it would be great if I could use the CI feature.

Best regards…

Although I think you are going to use a legit smart card in your CI module, this isn’t a topic we could discuss here, because most probably a softcam would be involved in a possible solution.
Because this isn’t legal in some countries, we can’t talk about it.

Greetings,

Dear friend, I am aware of the sensitivity of the issue.

The subject has nothing to do with sfta* and Ocm, you can’t even take the card inside the CI and use it somewhere else, because it’s paired with the CI.

I mean, my request is completely legal.

Best regards…

Okay, excuse me. I didn’t fully understand your request initially.
I’m sure the devs will take a look at it, but you should add some more information about your USB tuners including the exact brand/model.

Greetings,

There is no apology, but you have rightly raised your concerns.

In the meantime, I appreciate your approach to people, your level of writing.

Greetings,

I still haven’t solved this problem, it’s like state secret, nobody says anything and you’re going to do it.
And I’m still watching as a PC prisoner.

Best regards…

If you have a computer, you can connect it via Coreelec in same network and use
DVBViewer Media Server
this is only way for me

Greetings,

Exactly, I’m using it like you, and I’m afraid this will continue.

you use tvheadend Satip from your server media ? or use dvbviwer pvr addone ?

Greetings,

I only use the DVBViewer PVR Addon because I could not set up the Media Server SAT-IP system.
But if you did, I’d like some help.

Best regards…

try :
edit:
\COREELEC\Addons\service.tvheadend42\bin\tvheadend42.start
in line 109 set your server:

custom startup parameters

if [ “$CUSTOM_START” != “true” ]; then
