Sorry, I asked to you about the controller because I have a ps3 clon and doesnt work on ES, but I works on retroarch, I dont know why.
With previous versions it did not work for me too.
But with the last one, no configuration were needed.
Days before I installed this zip I made a hard reset, so I dont know if you could have a wrong config from the last version…
Thanks for the answer, Its the same thing that I’ll do in a days, a hard reset to test is the best thing to do…
You don’t need to do a hard reset, just SSH to your box and remove the folder /storage/.emulationstation while in kodi (not running the addon)
rm -rf /storage/.emulationstation

Sharuman, jdeacon or for anyone else having problems, please attach a log. It is very hard to guess what the problem is if I don’t have any information about the problem.
at LEAST provide these logs
/storage/sx05re.log
/storage/.emulationstation/es_log.txt
if your logs are long, please use pastebin.com to share them.
Also provide as much information about your box as possible!

How to configure controller in AdvanceMAME? It doesn’t pick up my controller (works fine with retroarch)
Use a keyboard, press tab and you should be able to see a GUI that enables you to configure your gamepad.
@shanti I just made an image with Sx05RE which brought in splashes and bezels. I also added a splash video when boot up. Just take a look and you may get some ideas from it.

I added drasitc and openbor to Sx05re 2.3.1 and labeled it as 2.4 since we missed offical v2.4:)

I hesitated a bit on the video intro as I didn’t knew if it would make the booting time longer, but it was still on my list, really like it.

I also like your themes, and you seem to have several configuration scripts, can’t read Chinese but this seems really good!
Somehow AdvMame does not respond to my keyboard (Logitech wireless usb). Keyboard works fine on kodi and ES.
The game runs from /storage/roms/mame-advmame/

@najaray If you open the site in CHROME Browser, you can let CHROM translate the chinese site for you. So can read his description and the comments. Looks like a great build. Reminds me of the RetroPi builds on my Pi

the ms-dos games do not go well, they make micro cuts and image jumps.
