I just re-read your original message, you are using the Kodi libretro core addon, which is separate from EmuELEC, how are you running UAE?
Anyways you can read what Kickstarts are needed here:

I read all that already, and followed all that is written. My kikstarts are exactly as those mentioned, (names and MD5). Games (many that I tried) are all for Amiga 500, but no success, none will start. I have roms and kikstarts placed as needed for your addon.
I try to start games via Emulationstation, and at first start I get black screen for a few seconds, and then back to UI. Next start does nothing…
If I try to start them via Retroarch after choosing emulator and game Retrarch freezes…
If I try to start them from Kodi Favorites I get the message game.libretro.uae encountered internal error.
I can’t help you with the game.libretro.uae as that is not part of EmuELEC, but for the other part you need to provide logs. /storage/emuelec.log (or sx05re.log, retroarch.log)
OK tnx, I’ll remove game.libretro.uae clear all logs and try to start a game with your emulator LIBRETRO puae and collect all relevant logs.
Do you know how to (re)name Amiga kikstart roms for use with libretro puae that EmuElec uses ?
not sure what you mean, rename them just as any file?
Well, did all mentioned above, started a game again, and when it didn’t start looked at the emuelec.log. Found out what mistake I was making all the time: “windows syndrome” made me rename downloaded Amiga rom files to kick34005.A500.rom and kick40063.A600.rom instead of just kick34005.A500 and kick40063.A600 - without extension.
All games started to work, so consider matter solved
I am glad you got it working!
Is this an add-on or a stand alone OS. The third post talks about installing from a zip like a standard add on, elsewhere I am seeing talk of burning to an SD card.
Both, there is a stand alone version and two addon versions, for CE stable and CE nightly…
I installed the add on, and got in running with some roms, when I try to map my controller (PS3 dual shock, it identifies it correctly, but most of the buttons don’t work, so I can’t map the d-pad with the d-pad. Only the triggers. But the remote works fine in Kodi. Anything I need to do to get that working properly?
Did you start up in RetroArch or EmulationStation? ES will configure your controllers for both ES and RA.
It loaded up ES. I have to go to config and it says hold a button down. Then detects it’s a PS3 controller. But most of the buttons don’t work.
The only way I can navigate in es is with a keyboard plugged in.
Hrmm. Is it a legit PS3 controller, or 3rd party?
I have a couple of Shanwan “Dualshoch” controllers that work just fine, but I know there are sometimes issues with other brands of 3rd party Dualshocks.
Yeah it’s a real Sony. Idk what the deal is
I reinstalled the add on and ran it with the controller plugged in and it’s working now.
A new Lakka was just released and it has a Daphne core for us 905x users now. Can anyone test it?
Can i use the plugin with the newest 9.2.0?
I could be wrong, but (if I didn’t miss some part):
@eviltrooper @felixwolfis correct, 2.6 which is a test release should work, I haven’t had time to compile 2.7.1 ad add-on but I will ASAP and I will do a proper release for it.
Bugs Report:
1.) When using games from USB vie sx05reroms file N64, Dreamcast and GBA games don’t show up (though the folder-names are the same / NES, SNES, Genesis work fine!)
2.) When trying to launch RetroArch (via ES_QUIT Menu, SX05RE crashes to CoreElec)
Setup:
Khadas Vim v1,
CoreElec 9.2.0,
