Hello, welcome back to the forum. I sold my X96 M200 device and bought a Ugoos AM9 Pro instead. It will arrive tomorrow. Is the dtb file for the Ugoos AM9 suitable for the AM9 Pro? Thank you.
I got my AM9 Pro device today.
I installed the CE and it’s working. I think the black screen on DV videos is because there is no dovi.ko file.
H266 videos are working.
Every time I restart it, it boots into Android and then boots into CE using the Reboot to Coreelec application to switch to CE.
Edit:When the dovi.ko file I used in AM8 was deleted, DV videos no longer display a black screen.
The dmesg | paste command is not working.

Didn’t Ugoos send you both of those for free to review, why complain ![]()
The Pro uses LPDDR5 (vs LPDDR4) and is Dolby Vision licensed. It might also include BT 5.3 vs BT 5.2 on non-pro, but that might be a typo.
I had 1 annoing unread notification here, which I couldn’t get rid of,because you know, coreelec was read only for so long.
But in terms of difference between pro and none pro,DV yes,ram has same speed of about 8GBps,so in terms of benchmarks they are quite identical.

The dovi.ko file for AM9 Pro is for training and testing purposes.

Only normal reboot from Android is enough.
The cause of this issue is not yet known.
connection error
CoreELEC:~ # dmesg | paste

Will be looked and fixed soon.
If it is DV licensed, also with FEL or only standard MEL
Why? FEL is only for Blu-ray player with physical disc. Is there any box with a Blu-ray drive available? No, so no FEL.
AM6B+ is not Blu-ray player with physical disc and having DV FEL
