It will run automatically on boot.
Anyone who has this issue can try to replicate after tomorrow nightly to see if actually working?

Amazing! Thank you.
Did you get inspiration from my one off fix suggestion I posted a few days ago?
Believe it or not we noticed this issue at start of february on one of the dev’s device but the reason was unknown at that time. And then again 2 weeks back when I get same solution as you. But I was not sure if included or not without knowing for any possible side effects.
please excuse a super basic noob question but with the CE installation can I plug a NTFS-formatted USB HDD into the AM6B+ and will CE/Kodi “see” it ? Also as I’m used to Android - how do I :eject" thw USB drive?
Yes, ce and android can read external hdd in ntfs format, not sure about max capacity, my largest hdd capacity is 12 tb.
and when I plug it in will CoreElec/Kodi 'see" it straight away or do I have to run some command or some such? And do I need to do something special when I want to uplug it? Thanks for indulging my ignorance
Hi all, new to this forum.
Have been lurking for a while though and have now taken delivery of a AM6b+ box.
I’ve hit a snag, this URL is dead:
https://dumps.tadiphone.dev/dumps/stream/dv8555-altice/-/raw/franklin-user-12-STTC.220815.001-20230722-release-keys/odm/lib/modules/dovi.ko
Can someone please share the dovi.ko file with me?
here you go 1.23 MB file on MEGA
Thank you so much!
Thanks. I added your link to the main post.
Turned off my Ugoos and took it to another tv I have in the office, now DV doesn’t work! DoVi file is there, the option is on, on the menu. I even deleted it and put it back but nothing. What am I to do??
edit: Well, I figured it out. It won’t do tv-led because of my philips hue sync box, activate the player led and it’s all “good”.
My Ugoos is on its way. What size microSD is recommended? Any benefit to >32GB?
Regarding the eMMC Speed Mode, is HS400 safe to use with the Ugoos or do I risk bricking it?
No need for large size. Use microSD for initial boot then write CoreElec to emmc (internal memory) by SSH into the box, then “ceemmc -x” and select dual boot mode.
Then you can remove SD card.
Heh, I think I used a tiny, slow 2GB card to prep my boxes . Yeah probably made the process a bit slower, but definitely don’t need a micro SD card that big.
Hello Everyone,
Just ordered my AM6B+ and reading this thread. I’m confused about the remote configuration file.
This names the file remote.cofig:
Which has the URL name remote.conf
Then step (7) names the file remote.config
So what is the correct name of the file?
TIA
Thanks for spotting the typo. It should be remote.conf. I updated the post.
No worries, and thanks for the great write up it will help me a lot, once my device arrives.
BTW - Is it OK to restore from my N2 running CE 21.0 or should I start over from scratch?
