yes, it’s enabled. I tried also with this setting disabled, but in both cases the interface takes a quarter of the screen.
I used it that way and the interface went full screen.
Device Ugoos SK1 Coreelec Ne os
Tried again toggling between 1080p and 2160p both with this setting enabled and disabled - the gui stays in the corner every time I switch to 2160p.
Guess there’s something else going on for me, or the dune Homatics box R 4K plus device.
I had the same issue. To resolve it, I had to change the resolution to 4K and for each supported refresh rate recalibrate video in Settings > System > Display.
Thank you, I have seen this solution several times before. But what does it mean “recalibrate”? Is it the place where we can change the “size” of the output image, by moving the corners, also we can change the position of subtitles and the ratio? So for me this scaling screen is still displayed in the corner of the screen and if I try to resize it to make it bigger, the image is just being cropped inside this small quarter screen rectangle.
Yes, this is the place.
How I did it: I set the resolution to 4K (the GUI took up only 1/4 of the screen). Then, in calibration mode, I didn’t adjust the corners -I just kept pressing OK > OK > OK… until the reset calibration prompt appeared. When asked whether to reset, I selected Yes.
All the corners aligned correctly (the GUI filled the entire screen). I repeated this process with different refresh rates.
Finally, I set the GUI to FHD mode. After that, when watching 4K videos, the GUI displayed correctly.
I did this with 2 refresh rates and they disappeared from the list now, should the gui have filled the whole screen after resetting the calibration for single refresh rate? or only after going through all of them? I’m afraid that if I continue, I’ll lose all the refresh rates and nothing will be displayed
Remove all video calibration data and GUI with 4k should look normal again:
Yes.
I just did that for all frequencies because it seems that the calibration applies specifically to a certain resolution and frequency.
I would try resetting the display settings to default. Maybe scaling is enabled when you calibrate.
I believe you can execute the command to clear the calibrations.
this might be the case, I don’t remember now. Will try later having made sure the gui scaling is disabled during calibration, or when executing the ssh commands. Thanks for not letting this go
Ok, I ran the command, and the problem occurred again on my setup. Now I can’t fix it based on the instructions I provided :).
Probably, it is caused by other factors that I didn’t notice. Rolled back to stable ce-ne 21.2
I’m very sorry, inform, if I got you into this… I just did the video recalibration thing with the “disable gui scaling” turned on and the gui went back to full screen on one refresh rate. I opened up the forum to report my success and was going to run the ssh commands with the gui scaling still disabled, but then I read your post and stopped hope things get back to the way you prefer them on your setup
Has anyone noticed if this problem with subtitles is present in CE NG for our boxes?
Hi guys. I am a new here. I have Homatics R 4K Plus with CE NG 21.2_nightly_20250219 with dovi.ko. DV P7 Fel plays like a charm. With few DV streams I have problems - no video playback, just black screen and laggy sound. My friend uses same box and same issue on same streams.

Many thanks for cooperation.

Why you ask twice?
Why you ask twice?
ahh right man sorry
Anyone have the 14.8.2463 fw zip or img ?
I think you’ll have to share a sample of these streams.
