Homatics Box R 4K Plus

The led add-on is in programs section, not at Service section.

You have to use the tooth pic again to boot. That’s normal at Android Firmware Update. You can use adb also and type “reboot update” …

So that worked beautifully. Thanks!

So I had a couple test files I was using to test/compare SDR, HDR, & DV. Since updating to the nightly, the files that are 24fps are janky. Pretty much constant stuttering. If I remove 4k/24 from the whitelist, the TV goes into 4k/60 and there’s still minor stuttering. Files that are 23.976 play perfectly.

These files were not stuttering with 20.2 Stable. Any advice appreciated!

Though to be fair, I can’t say for certain that I had whitelisted any modes when I checked those specific files on 20.2

Can you give detailed instructions on what needs to be done? Do I need to enter something in ssh? I’m not that knowledgeable on the subject.

Edit

I managed to install and enable adb on windows 10.
I issued the command “adb conncet 192.168.0.153” the ip of my device. My computer connected to homatics. Then I issued the command you wrote “reboot update” and I got the following. Any idea?

reboot : The term 'reboot' is not recognized as the name of a cmdlet, function, script file, or operable program. Check
the spelling of the name, or if a path was included, verify that the path is correct and try again.

If you are trying to boot CoreELEC from an inserted usb drive, it’s enough to simply connect the device to 220v power while holding the small hidden button with a toothpick or something similar, I think. If you already used CoreELEC earlier you should have done this already once (or some other method suggested here for first time boot).

I cant find leds addon to install, any help?

It’s in the coreELEC addons repository, in the programs section.

and then

adb shell reboot update

What is the name?
Im on lastest ce 21 nightlies, cant find it.

Sorry for reviving this old message but I’m a bit confused - I thought Dune had an IR receiver (says so on their website), but Homatics didn’t. This table says it’s the other way around. Which one is it?

Table says Dune and Nokia has IR.

You’re right, I misread it :man_facepalming:

Thank you for all your replies. CoreElec has already woken up thanks to your advice

CoreElec on Homatics is excellent compared to Kodi. It works amazingly fast. They work with DTS-X, DTS-HD MA. In general, everything works that doesn’t work on KODI with ATV12. Best of all, from what Ella Gao wrote to me on Telegram, files encoded in VC-1 will never work on ATV12. Apparently the CPU manufacturer does not want to provide drivers because it is an outdated format. However, many people sometimes want to watch an old movie and will not be able to do so on KODI and ATV12. It’s great that the CoreElec team did such a good job and created a great working system.

Is there work being done on the option to install CoreElec in NAND memory? Such a MULTIBOOT would be perfect. When turning on, you will be asked which system you want to choose: CoreEleC or ATV12?

Homatics led, I think - in the program subcategory, not services

Hello, please advise me I am faced with the choice of purchasing a device for Coreelec Will this box from this topic be the best choice for 150€ ? Maybe Gt-king would be a better choice?

I have GT-king, but not use that from years. I have 3 homatics box, and its the best. You got full certificated atv box with all streaming app to run 4k dv and Atmos, plus you can run CoreElec from usb, to play all type of Local files with 4k dv, and all HD sounds .
