Maybe if you keep the pressure on vendors they can pressure up and something good will come out of all the pressure. Thereâs only so much CE team can do.
And donât forget that only two devices are capable of CE and pottencially DV at same time. One of those devices is from a vendor that doesnât even support CoreELEC. So, with all due respect, youâre barking at the wrong tree.

I tried the Android OS from the Ugoos AM6 and have weird pixelated artefacts and stutters with DV files and Kodi. 
I havenât tried the 0.4.0 RC firmware yet.

Yes there have been answers, but the pressure must be maintained, thatâs what I meant. The true target is above, at Amlogic. And Ugoos isnât a supporter of CoreELEC so any effort will be obviously directed primarily to Minix .

I own both the Minix and the Ugoos with their respective firmwares and both play DV in Kodi/DV and Plex. Both boxes have got some problems but I prefer Minix.

I just updated my Ugoos AM6 Plus with the 0.4.0 RC firmware.
I had a lot of problems with resolution and loading times with the Kodi version of the Play Store.
So I installed the latest version available here :
https://mirrors.kodi.tv/nightlies/android/arm/master/
And damn, everything works perfectly on Android!
Now I have to mourn CoreELEC (for now).
Had some really weird behaviors and crashes.
Does that work with mkv Dolby vision rips?
