Any USB gigabit Ethernet adapter should work.
32 GB devices work faster, and fast USB 32 sticks work faster than any uSD cards…

The worst thing is that it doesn’t work for me, I have tried a gigabith ethernet adapter and in coreelec it gives me 160 megabytes and if I change to android tv it gives me 370, it cannot play 60 or 70 gigabyte remuxes through smb because they cut off all the time, My microSD is very slow and not the covers, it takes a long time to load and it crashes
No, I will not. I can only say that I use several " USB stick 32 GB SANDISK Ultra Fit, USB 3.1" which work very well for me, on my boxes.
Never used any brand except Sandisk, and when possible “Extreme Pro” versions.
160mb should be enough though, wifi 6 still available i get 250mb+ on it & only occasionally get stutters but plays fine most time in smb/nfs.

Hi everyone my box is ok now with CE cec and all but Im looking to upgrade from the nightly build installed to fix the subtitle issue I dont know which build I can update to (without causing trouble)… I mean which build I can use safely to do ? Any 21.1.2 soon ?
Next rel will be 21.2, which has no due date yet.
I prefer stable (21.1.x), but if not I would run 21/22 nightly as I do on non crit systems. I did still notice playback issues with active subs on some content with 22 nightly, haven’t had time to look into it further, but seemed unresolved for now…

I can see subtitles ok.
I do need to turn them on in some files but I’ve made a short cut key for subs to fix that when they don’t automatically appear.
I used Kodi Keymap Editor o assign an unused key.
Long press of Mute button in my case.
i guess mine is rev d. btw the adele live video work without the white artifact when using it on android tv kodi, justplayer etc. only on coreleec the white artifact occured.
Yep, it works fine on ATV and CE-NE.

As stated earlier, it occurs in newer revisions of the device with the older kernel (4.9). There’s a mismatch. If you use CoreELEC NE it plays fine.

Sorry but I get e x a c t l y the same srt sub issue with fresh install 20241126 nightly - srt subtitles do not show and never show… I have to fast or back forward or stop and restart the movie to see them. In this way if I reopen a file that I have already viewed, the sub are displayed immediately…

I have very bad hearing I use subtitles often and I can confirm that this nightly build have all an issue about srt sub may be stable release will work good
