I got one with a Gigabit LAN port and unlocked bootloader with rev-a chip from Amazon US in the middle of Oct 2024. The seller’s name was Kinhank Official. You can try your luck there if you are from the US since it is easy to return.
A- Use the latest NG-nightly, as these are the only OS images that can run 1Gb speed. CoreELEC nightly builds
B- Choose the right dtb for the original revision (1Gb version)< go back to post #700
C- The source of internet device (router, modem, switch) and cable must be capable to support the connection speed.
D- provide some info, if I can see any issue from your network equipment.
SSH and type
ethtool eth0
ــــ
ethtool eth0 | grep Speed
ــــ
dmesg | grep eth0
ــــ
dmesg | paste
I made a quick test on latest NG nightly (16-12-2024) and everything works fine.
All DV and FEL test files plays perfectly as expected.
Ethernet OK without any single issue.
I have the dtb for 1Gb revision. G1-dtb - Google Drive dovi.ko - Google Drive
No, except to try installing “CoreELEC-Amlogic-ng.arm-21.1-Omega-Generic.img.gz” (from August 22.) If it does not contain needed kinhank dtb.img use one from post 700. If any of those does not work, you have a different hardware revision that is not known to me…
Can you tell us what the serial number of your box starts with? I have one with a rev-a chip and it starts with 24200xx. @kszaboa has one starting with 24600xx for which the original dtb didn’t work I think.
Also did you try the new revision dtb from post 741?
