I restored my V2 that I updated back when the Android update first came out, not realizing it would lock the bootloader.
I was able to do it without soldering and had to try a few times since I had emmc timeout errors but eventually got it working.

Running CoreElec isn’t the problem.
But whichever dtb I try, eth. Capable of speeds of only 100Mbp!
That dovi.ko doesn’t work for my setup 
DTB,s from post 700 also no boot.
Iam using modded DTB kinhank.
So boots with wifi and Bluetooth both working
No ethernet…
The dovi.ko from my Ugoos loads

Screen is black,i can hear audio

No, except to try installing “CoreELEC-Amlogic-ng.arm-21.1-Omega-Generic.img.gz” (from August 22.) If it does not contain needed kinhank dtb.img use one from post 700. If any of those does not work, you have a different hardware revision that is not known to me…

Can you tell us what the serial number of your box starts with? I have one with a rev-a chip and it starts with 24200xx. @kszaboa has one starting with 24600xx for which the original dtb didn’t work I think.
Also did you try the new revision dtb from post 741?

So now it works.

You’re right, mine is 24600xx & is only 100mb & even nfs/smb with high bitrate files struggles where a my minix s922x play it fine.

Did you try using WiFi ? I’m able to get around 250mbps on iperf with the WiFi 6 router a couple of meters away from the box.
It’s not great but it works ok for high bitrate playback. My iPhone manages to get 500mbps from the same spot.
I get 220mb but nfs/smb is a mystery, i use the same sdcard in the Minix so same settings, i think is rev d of s905x4 is too weak, does anyone use nfs/smb here?

I have older board from image i posted
Looks like 2402xxxxx…
V2 2021 04 25 stamped on board.
Maybe version is a factor as compared to serial #
