then KinHank G1 thread, they know before hand that the support for it has ceased. Also it costs money to do hardware revisions. what other reason is their to change the hardware now? the mod isn’t for everyone. so I’m not sure what issues will arise that can’t be fixed, just like freddy had and others had to help.

You have no issues on telling people “no log no problem”, this could be “Unsupported means no support”.

More people can enjoy FEL with this hardware and the last person that had issues is because of his Nas setup. You guys are awesome for what you do. just let us have some fun with tinkering. you guys tinker all the time :smiley:

FW and OS are 2 different things. What does CE has to do with FW? It doesn’t load it just use it. No idea what nightly build has to do with all this.

Hey everyone, why does it say Your Device Tree is out of date and stay on the boot up screen for 30 seconds when we use the G1 dtb? This seems to have started in one of the recent builds, I just noticed it on the 25th Christmas nightly.

No, I decompiled it and changed the dt-id to a generic one ‘sc2_s905x4_4g_1gbit’.

I’m not sure if Ugoos works well, remember reading that either or both WiFi and BT don’t work.

I think you have used Kodi on Android as well. I was also facing the same issue with Kodi in Android as well. I think Kodi has some issues with buffering through WiFi, but I’m not sure.

Anyway, I have continued to troubleshoot this issue with WiFi and now I have tried the Mezzmo add-on in CE accessing a Mezzmo server I’ve setup on my PC. This seems to have resolved the buffering issue I have had with WiFi through the main Kodi sources. I’m able to play high bitrate DV remux files and even do FF & RW. Haven’t required to toggle the WiFi adapter on/off in the settings until now.

I think any alternative network streaming solution like Mezzmo or Jellyfin will usually fix the buffering issues faced by default Kodi sources.

@xmlcom If you haven’t returned the box yet, I would suggest you try one of these.

Thanks but i need a server that run on coreelec(my contents is on ce device Beelink GS king-X). Do you know if you can install mezzmo as a server in coreelec?
