New Order: Looking for users with no working WiFi or BT

Ah, ok. There is another x88 box…
S905X3 is SM1, yes

It is a s905x3 4gb 1gbi ethernet
X88 Pro X3 / X99 Max Plus / Transpeed X3 Plus TV Box has same board
Yes it is a sm1 board

But it’s still not online. Try if internet is working from your box like with ping 8.8.8.8 from a ssh session.

Give it another try, the internal routing was trying to output via ethernet
I disconnected it.

No, still not online.

should be up
Do you think that my vpn is having any affect on it?

I also have my H96 Max online via a usb dongle it is also a sm1 board
sm1_s905x3_4g_1gbit.dtb No ethernet

Nothing online…

I just stopped my VPN service see if that helps.

Nope, nothing. Check if all enabled:

Can you ping the internet from your device?

Do you happen to know which ports need to be open on the firewall for this to work?

I can ping 8.8.8.8 no problem, I believe it is the Firewall stopping you
I opened up a range of ports that I hope will let you in.
I will keep an eye on the logs to see what is being rejected.

The point of tmate service is that no ports need to be open because connection is made from your device to tmate server and also send information about connection to pipedream.com web service.

It should just work :tm:

Only 3 things needs to be done in CE settings

turn on Enable terminal sharing
enter your CoreELEC forum username under Connection name
turn on Send invitation code to CoreELEC developers

and just in case reboot device. After reboot check if settings are still set.

Post url you get by command after reboot

journalctl -l | grep -i tmate | paste
journalctl -l | paste

@tht your device shows up now, but it’s now disconnected

timestamp: 2024-03-05T 10:10:20.592720Z
type: session_close

I am not sure but it’s connecting/disconnecting every 3-20 seconds.

The device currently connected have wifi!?
SDIO_ID=02D0:4339

but
[dhd] ANDROID-ERROR) failed to power up wifi chip, max retry reached **

This is might the reason why it connect/disconnect and so on until max retry is done.

@tht please make a list of devices you have connected. I found now minimum 3 pcs.
And so I am confused.
You can assign the correct one by the serial: cat /proc/cpuinfo.

So please help me to clean up the list and identify the issues for each.
Maybe you enter as user name tht-1, tht-2,… in tmate settings and make me a list?
If it’s a LAN issue the cable must be connected to see if the error get fixed.

Which device I have 4 of them setup?
One of the 2 that are on a wifi dongle?
The other two are on ethernet do you see them
One is a s905x3 the other is a s905x2?

I couldn’t reply to you yesterday because the web site said I already made to many reply’s

tht-3 is a sm1_s905x3_4g.dtb No Wifi
tht-4 is a g12a_s905x2_4g.dtb No Wifi

Thx, this helps already.

Please ensure of one of the tht-1 or tht-2 is LAN connected and tell me which one afterwards.

We need to continue tomorrow anyway as the pipedream free account session limit was hit.

So please ensure all devices are online back tomorrow, thx.

No problem, What time of the day do you start?

I am Retired plenty of time on my hands these days
I am also based in Texas, USA US/Central time is now 10:25AM
I don’t sleep much and am up at odd hours at times.

UTC+1, 8am

So I think -7h to your time? So when you bring it up on end of your day it should be fine.
