Radical but it is a solution
Hello all,
I quickly search this forum for my issue and didn’t found anything, so I try to write it.
I have Beelink GT-King S922. Installed nightly on USB disk but I got only black screen.
I use the g12b_s922x_beelink_gt_king.dtb as dtb.img file.
I have installed NG version so here is identification of GT-King from NG.
CoreELEC (official): 21.1.1-Omega_nightly_20250106 (Amlogic-ng.arm)
Machine model: Beelink
CoreELEC dt-id: g12b_s922x_beelink_gt_king_rev_a
Amlogic dt-id: g12b_w400_a
Linux version: 4.9.269 (docker@048a69f994df) #1 Mon Jan 6 05:16:59 IST 2025
Kodi compiled: 2025-01-06 04:54:34 +0100
Please, what I do wrong?
Black screen after 10 minutes or is there terminal for putting of commands ?
Hello, I have black screen from start. No boot, no terminal, no logo, nothing.
From my previous post it is not obvious that the installed version that does not work is CoreELEC-Amlogic-no.aarch64-22.0-Piers_nightly_20250105-Generic.img.gz
Mentioned information from NG version I write is only for identification of hardware.
There is a dedicated NO thread

Has anyone noticed from the last week or so on NO that when there is nothing been played there is digital noise bleeding through to the analogue sound at a significant level. This just started for me on my N2+ bedroom setup and its quite annoying since I leave the rig on constantly and it intrudes on the sleeping ambience. I noticed a few ALSA commits around the same time and thought maybe this was the source.
Today’s coreelec nightly update broke vc1 playback. It was running smoothly on the previous version on my am6b+, but after this update, there’s stuttering (basically unwatchable). If I set vc1 to “Always,” the playback isn’t exactly smooth, but it works decently.
nightly update - 2025-01-15
Which nightly, -ng, -ne or -no?
Amlogic NG
The todays CE-NG nightly has weird issue…
The subtitles, and the playerdebuginfo overlay displayed front of the gui OSD, not behind…
What problems are there with the subtitles?
Portisch has recently worked on it to improve the fluidity of the interface and content when they are activated…
I tested it quickly this morning and it seemed to be better, thanks by the way to Portisch
It’s actually much better (stutter with active subs when no subs are onscreen), but I did see the subs in front of the menu once on a Ng box with latest nightly as well.
Can’t reproduce it now, though.
Indeed, it’s a concern even if it’s not so bad this way.
The only problem is that, like on Zidoo boxes, the subtitles stay on the screensaver if we pause when there are any…
And that’s much more annoying
No.
It is issue.
I tested the last NE 21 nightly , that affected as well.
The 2025.01.13 nighlys was good for both CE versions.
Yes yes of course.
If it were only during the display of playback information, it wouldn’t be a big deal. But for the rest, it is.
Too bad it was working well otherwise!
Well, when I try to pause or stop, I don’t see the buttons
The devs see that, and will be fixed, Im sure.
Tested the 20250115 nightly on my CE21-ne.
There are still occasional stutters with subs enabled, but the skip value does not increase.
I’ll test the CE22-no tomorrow.
Yes agree. And the subtitles is over the osd.
